Birthday present for a 70 Year old man.

So.....my dad turns 70 this weekend. I have no clue what to get him. My sisters and I are taking him and my mom out for dinner, someplace nice and my mom bought him a giant flat screen tv. I would have thought she'd buy that for me but whatever.

Any ideas anyone?

By the way, hi everybody. Long time no post wave

Hi Milty wave

Maybe this Android Memory Trainer is idea for your dad?

A colleague of mine bought it for her 78 old grandma and she loves it.

Not that I am saying your dad needs it lol

What does he like to do in his spare time? Hobbies, that sort of thing. Maybe you could get him something he can use for those. A ticket/trip to go somewhere for a weekend?

The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

If he's getting a nice, new flat screen tv you and your sisters could get him a nice blu-ray dvd player or just a regular dvd player if his current one is an older model.

Get him some of the latest dvd's to go with the flat screen

Things like that.

Happy Birthday to your dad!

What about a family portrait/photograph?
