It is a pretty good movie, barring the HUGE problem with logic in the movie.

I'm with you.

I think he's gross and have never understood the fascination with him.

If I'm aware he's going to be in a particluar movie I will purposely avoid seeing it unless I really get forced into watching.

The best part (in my opinion) was the futuristic technology. I get fascinated with that stuff. Otherwise, Tom Cruise is an adenoidal jerkoff... lol

Vanilla Sky was a good movie... that really has nothing to do with whether or not I like Tom Cruise.

Vanilla Sky was based on the movie "Abre Los Ojos" that was written by the same man who wrote "The Others".

I saw "Abre Los Ojos" before they made "Vanilla Sky" and thought it was terrific.

I refuse to ruin my great experience with the Spanish version by seeing "Vanilla Sky", no matter how many people tell me how great it is. Plus the guy who had the lead in the Spanish version was way better looking than smarmy Tom.

Tom used 2 make some pretty good movies. He went downhill after Jerry McGuire... sure his part in Magnolia was brilliant, but I'm talking 'bout starring roles.

Vanilla Sky... eh
Minority Report...eh

I'd like 2 see him in another "Born On The 4th Of July" or "A Few Good Men" or "The Firm"... these were some good films!

He needs 2 pick'em better.

So, the movie is over. It was good... not great. I was confused with one part of it, but that was explained to me. I won't say anything about it here in case someone hasn't seen it yet.

I still find Tom repulsive.

I think Tom's okay.

This movie is pretty good I reckon. There are flaws but it is worth it.

That is a good idea! I saw both and the original was excellent! Vanilla Sky was shit in comparison (although the soundtrack was not bad).

Yeah, Vanilla Sky was a great great movie. But perhaps that
was just because it had Radiohead music in it. Now, I mean
how can you pretend to not have pretentions when you use
"Everything In It's Right Place" for your movie? Gotta love
that.

wink

Nah, just kidding, it was a cool flick. I really enjoyed
watching it in the theatre and hear all the dumb fucks go
"what the hell is happening", "is this PRIOR to what has
happened, or is this AFTER?", "Huh?", "I've lost the plot"

Hahaha.

I love Gwyneth P. in it too. That car-off-the-road scene
was really quite freaky, and the way she stalked him
before that. I love borderline behaviour, as long as it's
on the big screen.

Tom Cruis is a fine actor, but I think he's got a bit of an
over-inflated ego and demands WAY to many close-ups of his
face. Anyone else notice that?
