Fans of Stupid Humor Granted, I find nearly everything funny, including Arthur and some episodes of Dragon Tales, but are shows like The Office, Parks & Rec, or Portlandia lost on some people? I have friends who love the shows, but I tried watching The Office (American version) with my mom once and she never cracked a smile! It could just be a generation gap/ age difference. So I'd like to know, what shows with stupid humor do you find funny, or do you like them at all?
I'd post a example video but I forgot how, so here's the link: http://www.hulu.com/watch/217023/portlandia-rules-for-house-sitting#s-p1-sr-i0

99% of American sitcoms are not funny to me at all.

I don't like The Office and avoid it like the plague. The others I've never seen. I do get a kick out of some stupid humor just not all of it.

I find the Office unwatcheable (brit version) I don't laugh, I cringe, and wish I was doing something else - same with the Extras, I think it's just a Ricky Gervais thing. I haven't really seen the US version.
I could never get into Mighty Boosh
I find things like Swift and Shift couriers hilarious, now THERE is stupid humour at it's best

I honestly don't watch any of these modern comedies on TV. Which is why when people talk about them, I just look like-- because I'm totally out of the loop. Every now and then I'll watch episodes of The Office. It's sometimes funny in a chuckle way or a rude humor way. Other than that, I tend to keep it old school. I scramble to get up early to watch I Love Lucy and Petticoat Junction on MeTV. I adore The Cosby Show and Golden Girls.
I mean...I'm an ass in my own family because I said I can't stand either of those Tyler Perry comedies on TV right now. Oh well. GOD I love Arthur. I would come home everyday to watch it. Hell, if I'm in a good mood nowadays I'll watch it. One children's show that cracks me up is Peep in the Big World. I know it's educational, but that duck with the hat is so selfish...reminds me of Ted Baxter from the Mary Tyler Moore Show. [Edited 2/27/11 22:09pm]
