Canada is officially a nicer country than U.S.

Obama wants to charge Canadians a fee to visit the U.S.!

That's what I'm wondering. Sure, Canada is nice, but I don't know if it's nicer than the U.S. I'm sure Canada has its good points and bad points, just like everywhere else.

RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I'm neither defending nor knocking the policy, but no new fee is being imposed. And Canada isn't being singled out. Rather, travelers (and only sea and air travelers) from Canada -- along with Mexico and the Caribbean islands -- willl simply no longer be exempt to a $5.50 passenger inspection fee that the rest of the world already pays to enter the U.S.

Even if it were "nicer" it would still just be Canada.

I certainly can't go to Canada without apologizing to them for protesting the Iraq war.

I did the funky chicken chicken over an Air Force Base blue line with a Catholic Nun. We

landed on supervised probation. The Canadian gov would not allow me across their

royal borders.confused

What I meant was Canada doesn't charge Americans to enter our country, hence "nicer".

Other countries tend to be more expensive, so in effect they charge us a holiday tax. So there.

Nice healthcare though.
