New York Knicks 91

Miami Heat 86

Oops. Wrong thread. doh!

The awards are pretty dull this year, but the Knicks-Heat game was on, so I was watching that in between awards.

And the Oscar goes to...

Best Original Song - We Belong Together, Randy Newman (Toy Story 3)

clapping

Halle Berry is so fine her commercials are better than the shows they sponsor.

I think he's at the least attractive I've ever seen him right now, but there is still something about his personality that's appealing.

Oh this show is dreadful, lets start with the hosts?? WTF?? Whats next year, the winners of Dancing With Stars hosting? Bad bad choice of hosts, next, wtf 10 nominees for best picture? insanity, its like when Hockey used to have 21 teams and 16 of them made the playoffs, everyone was like, why bother playing the season when almost all of us make the playoffs. Awful show

I guess that's sort of the reason I was live blogging the awards - so others wouldn't have to watch. In reality, this year's awards was one of the faster paced Oscar telecasts in recent years, yet it felt like it took four and a half hours to watch. bored faint Plus there were very few really interesting stars nominated or presenting awards this year, which made it even more boring to watch. They needed Charlie Sheen to liven things up.

i find it hard to believe that everyone was saying "what a great year for movies" really ? they were acting big time when they kept saying this every other minute on the show. This was not only an off year for movies, it was just not a good one at all, even the nominees werent that great, the social network was possibly the most overrated movie of all. But this show had nothing, it was like......i dont know....just like there wasnt even a show this year, i mean from the hosts down, the only slightly up moment was Billy Crystal, sad but true. This show needed seasoning, it was blander than bland, it was like Golf in slow motion.
