Perfoming the ritual. Is that basically like dailing 911 to the spirit word. Is the power in the ritual and herbs, or is it in the spirit world. DAMN! I feel like I'm in class.

I don't know...all she told me was that he got fired from his job. He was a very high-profile and popular radio DJ for WWDM in Sumter.
And I'm not even saying I believe in this or not, but I was always afraid of that karma thing. You know; whatever you DO to someone will come back on you three times over? So, I'd rather not tempt whatever forces are out there, ya know? "Let love be your perfect weapon..." ~~Andy Biersack

In a sense yeah, we all have access to it. Depending on your tradition. Let's say one was a straight arrow Christian in a time of need they have their way of calling for help. Like a sincere heartfelt prayer may be the way a Christian would call 911 in their time of need. Remember I said that some people consider prayers to be a form of a spell. Instead of putting in the work you're calling on God to do the work for you. Christian, Jewish, Vodun, Hoodoo. It all the same when calling for help. The technique is just different. Hoodoo just incorprates a lil more. But think about it...some Christians use holy water and annionting oil when doing some rituals. Baptisim another ritual... Look at things and compare and research and come up with conclusions.
And we also all have gaurdians not matter what your background. Some traditions call them your gaurdiain angels. Some call it spirit guides. Some say it your ancestors that walk with you. Some people are in tune about who is around them. And that from it doesn't matter the technique, what matters is the sincerity and the power that one person holds while doing what they do spritually.
It doesn't matter what background your from or what you perform. What the universe/ God wants from us the most is to put love out there, do good, and to help other transcend. There are good Christians and bad christians. There are good hoodoos and bad hoodoos.
Why I think people fear hoodoo and voudun people etc. is because they are not afraid to accept the spirits world that is around and interact with it. The word occult means unknown. When you make the unknown known it isn't as scary. And the sprit world is just like the three dimensional world. You got your good guys and you got your assholes.

That's great!! I want people to think and research things even if they don't agree with my beliefs. I just don't want people to think that people who practice hoodoo yoruba, voudun, wicca, are bad people. And that its only used for bad. Actually a lot of those people are some really down to earth people spritually cause they are really in tune, which causes them to be really intune with others. I don't down any religion. Not even Christianity because sincere followers of any religion no matter what is that religion cuase it is what they needed in their lives to become whole with themselves. One man's former religion can be another man's savior. I used to be a Christian but in my life my spirit asked for more. But if someone finds Christianity and becomes a better person that's divine.
What I don't like is when people are accepting of something and don't ask questions just becuase it was what they're told, or tradition, or out of fear. Even if you come back to your original beliefs. At least you came to those beliefs on your own. Your spiritual journey is a personal one.

When I hear about voodoo or anything dealing with voodoo {chicken foots, bones, hair...} and all of that other shit I get the willies. That's exactly why our grandmother taught us to throw our hair in the toilet so no one can get a hold of it. surviving on the thought of loving you, it's just like the water
I ain't felt this way in years...
