Has anyone had Windows 7/iTunes issues?

My new laptop has Windows 7. Ron says he's had issues with Windows 7 at work.

When we transferred my iTunes it came over, but I'm having the worst time trynna synch my iPod. pout

First off it takes FORever (like overnight and into the next morning neutral ) and then there's songs missing from albums and shit. This has been after a bunch of tries. At first we thought it was the iPod so we got a new one but it wouldn't synch properly with that either (so we now have to return that doh!).

I'm frustrated as HELLLLLLLLLLL! pissed

What to do??? wall

Try forcing the ipod into diskmode.
Hold down the menu and middle button till you see the apple logo. Then hold down the middle button and the play button. You should get a check mark on the screen. Connect to computer and try to restore it.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Ron did this yesterday. Right now we have the itunes running on "compatible" mode.

If that doesn't work. Remove third-party backup or antivirus software, what type of Anit-virus software are you using John? Try uninstalling any such software then re-syncing. 32 or 64 bit computer? Are you getting any error messages and can you see your iPod if you click / open up Computer in the start menu to your right?
Another thing do you have another computer with iTunes and can it sync to it?

Hmm... it's broke. lol

Seriously

Many have had issues with Vista, Windows and 64 bit computers syncing to iTunes. Since you have a new iPod you are under warranty, call Apple Customer Service to see what they say. If there's an Apple Store near you . . . consider calling for going there to see if they can help. Your notebook is still under warranty with HP too, call them and see what they say.
