Thor has never been a favorite superhero of mine but this movie sure looks interesting, I will definitely check it out.

The actor has bulked up really well. Here´s what he said about his method:

""I put on a lot of weight — I put on about 20 pounds at one point. It was purely eating, eating, eating, working out and working out, trying to sleep as much as you can — that's the other third of the equation. The eating was the biggest thing; since stopping shooting I probably work out the same but don't eat as much, and I've probably lost 15 pounds or something. Chicken breasts and protein shakes, boiled chicken . . . clean meats, the right carbs. Sickly stuff."

Wow...who would´ve thought that sleeping can make such a big difference. I work out a lot and eat ok but I sleep very little. I guess I will eat and sleep a bit more from now on. wink

The costume looks great, the FX seem to be good, and the overall atmosphere is really cool. Can´t wait to watch this.

" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

i echo - I WAS NOT A FAN OF THOR AT ALL ...

something about gods becoming superheros .... just complicates things too much ....

but the fact that natalie portman is in it .. hmmm... could it be decent ?

oh wait . she was in the star wars movies that ruined the franchise .. thats right ...wink

Colonel Angus may be smelly. colonel angus may be a little rough . but deep down ... Colonel angus is very sweet.

Well, if ya think about it, all the gods were the original super heroes. The Greek Pantheon being the JLA of their time. The Norse gods were like the X-Men wink

The trailer looks fine to me. The Destroyer armor is spot on.

However, a movie is really in trouble if it can't at least get a decent looking trailer.

There was an excellent Marvel book a few years back called Earth X which explained that the Asgardian gods were actually shapeshifting aliens that took on the forms of the local people's deities. Through time the aliens believed themselves to really be these gods. Sounds reasonable to me.

A buddy of mine lamented that his "hammer throws" look weak.

They should've hired Native American ax-throwers to teach him how to do it.
