What would you do with yourself?

If you were filthy rich and never had to do any cooking, cleaning, shopping, go to work, child rearing etc - what would you fill your days with?

My kid just told me the only reason I make his school lunch is because I don't have anything better to do falloff

Easy for me. Work on music like 80% of the day. Of course I'd have the best equipment then too...my own studio. lol

If it were my child, I would send him to school without food for saying that to you. What a brat.

And yeah I would buy a whole MIDI system for myself and make music too, in fact I'd create my own studio and work with who I can.

I can't stand being idle.

I'd probably still teach. I love my job....

I just wouldn't feel the pressure to pay bills; it'd be because I'd truly love what I was doing.

Or... I'd probably go back to school and get another degree. I wouldn't have to worry about tuition, fees or student loans.

Some other things I would do

Pay off my awful debt

Travel to different places

Give money to mom to pay off the rest of the house

Redecorate my room and also get a really classy condo

Donate to charities of course and non-profit organizations

Make investments

Pay for my cousins education

I've a daughter of 4 and she's only that insolent in the late afternoon, she gets tiredand contentious. I must always check myself and remember my role as Papa.

It's probably going to get worse as she grows, but then I know she's so good natured, I wonder which way it's going to go.
i should get a better paying job and prepare myself for her pretty girl demands.

My meals would be four different men every day. One for breakfast, one for lunch, one for dinner, and one for a late night snack. And the next day, it would be another four men. Some days I might even have a buffet and just line them all up and have them all at once. lol

Isn't the housing market a bit of a nightmare on the Gold Coast at the moment?

I’d definitely quit my job and hire someone for to do the cleaning but I’ve got no childs to rear and I’d probably keep up the cooking on my own. I love to cook.

I’d take cooking classes here and there, travel all over the place (taking those cooking and other classes along the way), visit lots of spas and probably eventually settle down in one location. At that point I’d probably do a fair amount of volunteer work on whatever suits my fancy.

I'd probably take a stab at writing and maybe get back into sewing as well. And go back to college, but not for a practical degree, only to take the classes that seem infinitely interesting to me.

I would be cooking a lot. I love that.

I would buy a huge big run down building. I would design the whole house and renovate it according my design.

I would start a small fosterhouse (with staff, not just on my own) in that building. A home for 4 or 5 children and make sure it would be the best/warmest/ loving home they ever had and feel save and secure to grow up and become what they want to be. So they can complain about the lunch I make them wink

I would do courses for hobbies like photography, writing, design. And spend time designing clothes, furniture, and have my designs fabricated by a professional.

Buy a ticket and fly to San Fransisco and meet up with Renhoek for a drink, just before we would go with a good bunch of family/ friends/ fans to the P concert. Obviously at the VIP area, because I bought all of us the 'special service ticket'.

I would hire somebody to do my admin. I hate that! And also a cleaning person. And a handy man.

And I would go to get a facial, manicure, massage every week.

I would book weekends away together with my friends (and sometimes friends + their kids). We would enjoy eachother company, go out for diner, museum, just walking around foreign cities.

Get my drivers license and a car so I would go to museums in other cities, visit my familiy more, drive to the beach when the whether is hot.

I would attend CarriMpls her sewing class wink

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

Don't know for sure. Tabloids are filled with stories about the unhappy rich and famous....

Also, then all rich people would feel happy. That's not true. Also rich people have depressions, get addicted and feel lousy.

I do think money helps, because the worrying over the bills and all that stress about it weighst heavy. It's like you say, it pave's the way I guess.

Oh, I'd find ways to kill the time. It wouldn't be a problem. I'd travel, takes lots of classes, spend quality time with family and friends...if I was REALLY rich, I'd probably start some kind of charity with some of the money and spend some time running that. That would be fun.

Get the hell out of this city right this very moment!!!!!

Go to New Orleans and take up acting and do anything acting wise that came my way. If I couldn't make a living at it who cares, I WOULD BE RICH, RICH, RICH!!!!

Start helping people in the New Orleans area and the rest of the neglected Gulf Coast. Be involved in community gardens and improving the nutrition of the poor. Poor Americans are being killed by poor diet that make them fat, send their blood pressure through the roof and also often give them type 2 diabetes.

I would tell my family and tell them I would be glad to financially help them as much as they have helped me( which is not at all).

I would run, not walk to a damn good financial advisor so that I did not do the usual thing that most loto winners do and spend it swiftly and actually end up in debt! It is crazy but often people that win the lotery end up saying it was the worst thing that could have happened to them.

There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.
