No but they sure as hell been hitting me outside a hallmark store today.

I hate to tell them no but 4 dollars for a box of cookies. Good lawd.

I just go to family dollar and buy their thin mint version for 1.50 and it's

actually better because it has the vanilla cookie in it like back in the day

and not chocolate on chocolate.

I have a theory that Girl Scout cookies are not actually that great (they're not bad) but that the one instance where you can feel good about buying and eating five boxes of cookies.

I can only imagine how shitty boy scout cookies are... shake

the psychology of it is interesting...one feels like they're doing good by contributing to a worthy cause, and based on one's budget, usually overbuys by a box or too. the mint cookies are great, as are the peanut butter....in my area, they set up a table in front of the local supermarket, and sell the cookies well into the summer..

I usually see them in front of the supermarkets to,but this time they were roaming the neighborhood with a red cookie cart. I don't buy from the them because I think I am doing good,I just want my damn Samoas lol

the psychology of it is interesting...because I feel a compunction to give back to the community, every year I try to eat my weight in girl scout cookies. My favorites are the thin mints, also, the peanut butter and chocolate cookies, as well as the coconut and strawberry cookies. In addition I usually tend to order at least ten boxes of perfectberry cookies, and save those for last since they're tastiest.

i applaud your social conscience, dear, however, is there really such a thing as a 'perfectberry'?

These great cookies that you can't get in any store, that are only available one time a year, and you can only get if you happen to know someone in the scouts.

or you happen to go out anywhere in public! round these parts for weeks you can not go anywhere without being hit up! I once was very tempted to say "give me your mom's phone number and I will by a box"
