I agree. I mean, ultimately, the goal is always 'fun' isn't it? It's more fun for me I see a celeb wearing something like that rather than something that's just 'nice'. Nice is everywhere. MY COUSIN WORKS IN A PHARMACY AND SHE SAID THEY ENEMA'D PRANCE INTO OBLIVION WITH FENTONILS!! |

It's the magnitude and consistency of her wrong-ness that makes it fabulous.

Gaga has been wearing outrageous shit since way before she was anyone. I think that has more to do with "getting away with it." It's just part of the circus of herself and seemingly always has been.
RiRi...this comes off as her Janet Jackson "Control" period: She's a young girl trying out all kinds of different shit and reinventing herself every week, but none of it seems to really be her. It's what you make it. |

Thank you.
RiRi is a gorgeous girl. Almost painfully so. She can do glamour with edge and "get away with it" (remember those Grace Jones looking shots she did for some mag a while back?). I'm not saying that she should dress like everyone else or in stuff that doesn't stand out. Cute-sy Quirk is just not her strongest suit. [Edited 2/14/11 18:26pm] |

I'm not knocking gaga for being a pop star persona, but I'm not buying that it's not precisely that. Most artists do it, more or less, particular pop stars like her. She's the best at it though, and fair play to her. 50 million records sold in just a few years? Damn! She's made herself a huge celebrity in a short space of time. What's more impressive to me is that her music isn't actually too bad either, compared to others in her 'field'. the hair is not her, if anything she had it right when she had the black asymetrical do, to me that was very "her" - if she had THAT hair with this dress it would be perfect
so it's a bad dress or "mess" because of the person wearing it?
I like to look at it, she has the figure and a lovely skin tone to contrast the white well. It got her some attention, we are having a discussion about it.

The dress dress is ugly and not in the least bit "glamorous". She REALLY needs a (new)stylist. Every year this time I am reminded that just because someone has money and couture available to them, doesn't mean they have good taste in clothing. |

Upon further scrutiny, it appears she has nude bottoms and nude pasties on underneath.
but i saw her left nipple and there is a shadow in the vaginal region
did u see a rear pic?????
You can see the back close up here: http://cdn.buzznet.com/me...011-06.jpg
Here's a large pic of the front of her dress: http://cdn.buzznet.com/me...011-01.jpg
I think there is some kind of fabric on her nips underneath although it isn't totally opaque. |

Flesh-colored panties.
I believe she had pasties (Kelly Osbourne mentioned during the red carpet thing).
This whole dressw would've been better IMO done in Illusion. Like the old 50's lace dresses, where it looks nude under the lace but it's actually a flesh colored lining. That's way sexier. |

I don't see what the big deal is about her being "nude", though. Those pics are out there if you wanna see 'em. But I don't think she's actually showing anything other than her booty in this dress. Its received far too much tv and print coverage for that to be the case. Its all optical illusion and male hormones that make it appear that way. |

The dress shows nothing. I've checked and rechecked. It's less revealing than a bikini. In fact, head to toe it covers more skin than many regular daytime outfits do. Bring it all to, closing those sheer gaps, and it's the same as a modest blouse and knee length skirt for bared skin. I watched it again with no sound, and I noticed her right (the screen's left) eye and right corner of her mouth seemed to lost some tone. There is some over all drooping in her right side of her face.
