I go all the way back to Space Invaders, lol

The only game I really got into and played consistently was Myst though.

Space Invaders, Centipede, pac man, ms. pac man, 1942 and soooo many arcade games I played in the arcades back in the day.

I have the PS2 games of those and others now.

I went online out of curiousity to see how much it would cost to buy one game console from back in the day. Wowzers they are biggie bux.

I remember we used to play the hell out of a game that came with the Atari when you bought it. It had three small green airplanes going up against one big pink airplane. We used to call the big pink airplane "Big Mama" and we used to fight over who was going to be the three little airplanes because nobody wanted to be Big Mama because she always lost no matter who was playing. Hell, she only shot one bullet as opposed to the three little planes shooting three bullets. Her big ass was also a big target and easy to hit. lol

TECMO all day Kat, we used to have TECMO tournaments back in 88 when it first came out, I always used either the Chicago Bears or the San Fran 49ers. I see why you used the Raiders,Bo Jackson was a beast on there, so was his teammate Marcus Allen.

cool Those are most of my favorite arcade games. I threw away lost spent way more money playing 1943 than 1942, though. And Tempest was another way old school favorite.

Co-sign.

I believe it was actually the first console video game I ever played. One of three games I could never beat my grandmother at (Pac-Man and Centipede being the other two). She was a beast at video games, which is surprising seeing as how she didn't grow up with them or anything.

Another favorite of mine was Desert Falcon.

That said, I think I preferred Double Dribble actually, though it's a close call. Even more I preferred Arch Rivals, a basketball game that came later and let you punch each other. It was pretty much NBA Jam's Granddaddy.

My older brother had a merlin and I use to pretend it was a phone when I was young. A couple of years ago while visiting the family I found it, took it apart, cleaned it got batteries and it actually worked.

Its now on the coffee table in my living room as a conversation piece. Then again I have an old atari set up in the corner of the dining room.
