Good show..... it is kind of interesting seeing disrespectful thuggish kid's get scared when the prison inmates yell at them. But some don't care, either way i am mixed on the show there's no guarantee they will change there way's afterwards.

I watch it, too. I remember when the first film came out years ago. I thought that was the best so far. But you're right. Some of the kids might be beyond salvation. Like in the last show where that one kid was acting an ass because he didn't want the guards to touch him or "get all up in my face, bro!" What the hell does he think is going to happen to him when he gets to the big house with the big boys? That booty will be snatched in a nanosecond. Too bad the guards aren't able to smack the shit out of them right then and there. That's part of the problem with this show. I think the kids know there are limitations and think it's all game.

I hadn't watched the show until last night. Yeah, I doubt it'll work on all of the kids because they probably figure it's staged. But I'm a grown ass man and the living conditions and the constant threat of being raped keeps me on the straight and narrow. I won't even jay walk!

Who saw the female inmates? Some of them were scarier than the men!

Hell yes, woman prisons scare the hell pout of me, they get right in your face and there just aggressive as hell

What is this, a new TV show or something? I remember there was a movie back in the 1980s and we even had a "Scared Straight" program in high school back in the early 1980s. We all took a field trip to the Parchman Prison here in Mississippi. I remember some asshole classmate of mine talking shit on the bus on the way up there...."If there's any fags, don't worry. We'll just get Andy to protect us". Well, I thought it was funny as hell when we were walking up the sidewalk to one of the buildings. The men were whistling at all the boys and when we got inside, they were going slap off on the guys who were "tough looking". One of the guys was a punk rocker and an inmate kept calling him Tina Turner...."Hey Tina Turner, you BETTER be good to me bitch!" Hell, they didn't say a damn thing to me. I felt so neglected.
