I'm thinking that maybe it's time to get some ink.

My wife's looking to get her 4th tat...my best friend just got his first (nice but almost a half-sleeve...hope he doesn't regret it later!)...and my niece wants one for her 16th bday.

So I figure...why the hell NOT?

But what do I get? I was thinking of some kind of Mayan glyph design, then I was thinking of my kids' names, THEN I got the idea to make a -inspired design that incorporates my kids' initials (R, G & C).

Check out what I did, and let me know what you all think;

How's about we use a scale to rate it, from 1 to 5.

1 = lame and 5 = awesome

oo! I actually think that's a very cool design! great job. My one thought about it though...do you think it puts Prince and your kids on the same level of importance?

I kind'a was thinking of it as a celebration of my fandom by using the initials of the three most important people in my life.

It's open for discussion. I'm 50/50 about it (50% love it, 50% uncertain) so I'm looking for feedback.

I hate when people ask the meaning behind all my tattoos. I just tell them it means I like tattoos.

I really dislike it, BUT it had nothing to do with thre craftsmanship or design.

I just really don't like Prince-themed tats, especially symbols or his face or likeness.

For some reason I cirnge at them.

But, that's for me to deal with.

We do a trance posture ritual at least 2 times a year to give/reciece Quetxalcoatl gifts/energy

I would never just go to a tatt parlor and have work done ... Mine was done in sacred ritual ( not open to public ) space with thought and intention ...

I like your sketch. I would not personally get something like that but it's cool. I might question how Prince ties together all of your children or if he is anywhere near as important to be included with them, but it still does not jump out at me as ridiculous or lame.

I think the artist needs to clean it up from your draft, but you probably already know that.

I love the Myan-ish dragon drawing... Quetxalcoatl image is NICE!

Hate the first one... but I am a picky person when it comes to drawings/tats.

Yeah... I like my "monogram" because it's personal, but the Quetxalcoatl is f*cking COOL.

Thanks! Yeah, I did that here in the office with a pen. I would clean it up myself before presenting it.
