now im young ,20 and i never had a boyfriend(dont make fun of me, im learning) and im in college..

i would converse with a guy one day and then they would totally ignore me the next day ..why?

its not like im being needy or anything ...shit he came up to me! plus i keep to myself so im not really an attention whore or anything.

what is this 'game' that guys do? do they want the girl to chase them by ignoring them? whenever i meet a guy, I literally count down the days before he starts playing the "ignore" game. i have anxiety when it comes to guys now because i think, "what he'll start to ignore me or play like he doesn't hear what I have to say"..its very frustrating and I don't understand this social dynamic

please dont tell me to just get over it, i really want to know WHY this happens because its irritating and it keeps on reoccurring. I want to know why it happens because maybe its something i'm doing wrong.

And the sad thing is, i would ignore them back to give them a taste of their own medicine and the ignoring will continue....

I would say you just haven't met any decent dudes yet. Lots of people have the same anxiety you described....I'm one of them! It makes matters like these even more difficult to navigate.

Just keep doing what you're doing and maybe look for some better (MATURE) dudes.

It's called "being polite." At least they have that going for them.

Where are you meeting these guys? At parties? Those are such artificial experiences - and a lot of the time, guys are just looking to hook up in that situation.

Do you have any interests or hobbies? Take a class. That way, you already have that particular interest in common with every guy there. If you like to read, check out what authors are coming to speak at bookstores where you live.

b) he's a shy guy but that day he felt confident

c) he wanted to see if you were "easy"

i tried ..i usally look their way and on the brink of saying "hey"

they act very avoidant and quickly look the other way

i remember i walked some guy to class becuase it was raining and we talked

then no "thanks" or "hey" the next day

im like damn! cold-blooded!
