Man, I love carpet. I get what you're saying about the pet mess. But I'd rather replace the carpet every few years than have too much tile or wood flooring. Lola will probably hate me for saying this about her but she takes pee-pee pills for a lil' bladder issue. So carpeting is not a good move for us. I jumped for joy when I saw that this house required no pulling up capeting.

We are testing out $20 area rugs in the den at the moment. So far, so good...no accidents on it. If tha continues I might throw another one or two into the room.

Those are Ektorps from IKEA. They're slipcovers so we just throw them in the wash once a month or so.

I don't like the placemats either.

It's one of those little things that are a non issue right now, but trust, they will change.

I should've taken them out for the pic (and the white trash heater ).
At least it wasn't a sexy myspace shot with a turd in the toilet bowl.
