That damned Lindsay Lohan. Every morning on the "Today" show, I have to hear about that bitch while I'm getting ready to go to work.

~Justin [expletive deleted] Bieber! I guess I'm old now because I can't stand that drivel he sings. It just pecks away at my head. I don't think that's his normal voice and I dunno...like he's talented in one way, but expressing it in a generic way.

I was sick of him almost from the moment I became aware of him, lol. But then I watched an interview he did on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno just a few nights ago, and found out that this kid actually does have talent. He was out there singing on the streets when he was like 10 or something, AND he actually plays an instrument (which is a big plus in my book). I've got a lot of respect for artists who sing in the streets, with people walking right past them and maybe dropping a few coins in the hat.

I was really surprised, and now I'm beginning to feel differently about him. Actually thought he had a good sense of humor and was even able to poke fun at his own persona. At this point, I'm gonna keep my eyes on him. I think he might be heading for bigger things.

For me, she goes without saying. I really, really, really can't stand her. Never could, and likely never will. Now HER DAD is a different story razz lol .

I don't dig his current music at all, but I've always think he seems like a pretty level headed kid when I see him in interviews. And I think he actually plays a few instruments fairly well (I've seen him play some guitar, piano and drums). At this point he's doesn't really have to do anything else but get better, so if it turns out that's what he's doing with his spare time I'll be more than happy to give him some props. But I still don't like his current music. lol

I feel largely the same way. It's not so much the songs he sings (really haven't heard much of them anyway) as it is that he actually seems to have some talent, as opposed to just being famous for being young and pretty. I too would like him to continue to develop his craft, and I can see where in the future he could develop into a major talent. And like you mentioned, I also noticed he seems to be fairly level headed; to be so young. Hopefully he won't crash and burn.

I liked what he was doing on Youtube. I did actually get the chance to hear him a few times. It's just that when he got popular....ehhhh...>_

Miley is like a rash you can't get rid of, but only for those who watch Disney. But that rash is in pop culture too. I avoid her whenever I see a news topic on her. lol Billy Ray's a creep.

lol Miley seems to be EVERYWHERE (and I don't even watch Disney). lol There's always a story about her either online, on TV, in the paper, etc. etc. I'll be glad when that nasty rash goes away. lol

I'd just like to point out, you have a choice in the matter. lol

Usually on these threads I don't know who half of the people are that folks are complaining about. lol I know more than half on this one, but I wouldn't say I'm sick of anyone mentioned, mainly because I don't follow any media that supports all of that.

All of them. And I'm tired of the constant sensationalist and partisan news. Everything is going to give us cancer or bring about the end of the world. If not that, it's skewed heavily to left or the right. Just calmly report some NEWS once in a while, please.

That's why I HATE it when I go to some sites and they try to FORCEFEED what I think is GARBAGE they invent just so people can talk. rolleyes I hate it all (the biased news - don't care what wing people prefer; the celebrity gossip - please, hype from "artists"/performers, celebrities getting in trouble).

You just get tired of the same old bullshit! That's all it is at the end of the day is bullshit.

LOL, no on can force feed us anything. Just turn off the channel or go to another website.

And I definitely click away from all that reality rigamarole. Although, I do like the audition shows on "American Idol" because there are some truly heartwarming performances. And some hilarious ones, too. Why didn't they show the audition of the girl last week from the very beginning? You know, the one that said they shouldn't have stopped her singing just because she farted during the song?

LOL.

The only time I really hear about all these people that everyone is so sick of, is here on the org, when you guys go on and on about them. lol

Otherwise, I don`t watch or pay attention to anything about someone I`m not interested in.

This alone is reason enough to move to Canada!!! Trust me you can NOT get away from these people in the states. Turn on the radio to hear the weather? First you need to hear the lastest "celebrity news". Go to the supermarket, there they are rag after rag staring at you while you wait in line to get your groceries. If like me you like fashion mags, the same faces will keep showing up and some of them are in their 40"s now and have been on the covers since the 1990's.

Any celebrity that has their own perfume is over exposed. Most of those chosen by make-up lines are also over exposed. Any celebrity that has her own fashion line or is a "muse" for a designer, ENOUGH ALREADY. Sarah Jessica Parker may be a good human being. I am not putting her down as a person. I just can't seem to get away from her, her opinions, family etc. I have not watched TV in two decades except at other peoples houses so when I think of SJP it was the Disney Halloween Movie in which she is the pretty witch. Now she is easily perfectly cast as the ugly witch yet she is treated like she is the Ava Gardner of our time. I just don't get it!

You`re kidding me, right? lol

Canada is exactly the same in that respect. The difference is a) I don`t pay attention and b) if it is shoved in my face I just don`t absorb what I see/hear.

How? I rip the Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston covers off or sometimes simply throw away the magazine, it irritates me that much. I have let my Glamour and Elle magazines run out and plan to do the same with Marie Claire. I can not take it any more. When some one, who already has TOO MUCH ATTENTION, like Halle Berry uses her daughter to get even more, that is just plain sick to me. Merle Streep, Glen Close, and Jessica Lange had plenty of fame and fortune without endorsing product after product and parading around their private life every chance they got. Dignity seems to no longer be a valued quality.
