No, it's a different haircut. I wanted a different sort of a bob - just to the bottom of the ear and fairly heavy all the way around. She just gave me another beveled bob. Same haircut I had - just shorter. I'm starting to think it's the only cut she can do. Except that I know it isn't, really. We just have a little failure of imagination going on.

I just don't even know what to have her do. At this point, "fixing" it means going a lot shorter - and I'm not sure I want to do that. What happens if she fucks it up again? Shave my head and start over?

Plus, I'm out of town for a week and she's out of town by the time I get back (there's an illness in her family). Which means I'm walking around like this for two weeks, minimum.

That's the haircut I have!!!

I love it. I just blowdry my hair and it falls in shape. Easy does it. For a party I'll put in a little more effort and shape it some creative way.

You do need a good hairdressser, who exactly knows how you'r hair naturally falls forward and in what direction(s).

I've allways had short haircuts. And it's very easy, when it's messed up, just get a new haircut the week after. I love varying with my models every year. I think having long hair, allways in the same way is boring.

I just called and left a message. Her voicemail message indicates she'll be back in the salon on Monday. She better work me in in the evening either Monday or Tuesday.

I am pissed as hell about having to go to work like this on Monday.

Fixing a Bad Haircut

Well, she finally called me today. Apologized and admitted that she should have straightened my hair that night to see how the cut actually looked.

She's re-cutting me on Saturday.

Do you have any idea what it's like having people tell you they like your new 'do - and you're sitting there saying, "Well, thanks - but it's wrong."
