The Packers are really going 2 be scary in the next few years. They have 15 players on injured reserve, including key ones such as tight end Jermichael Finley, running back Ryan Grant and linebacker Brandon Chillar — not to mention defensive tackle Johnny Jolly, who was suspended the entire season as a result of drug charges and can apply for reinstatement.

It's vindication for Ted Thompson, who was vilified over the Brett Favre mess.

Just getting back home and i knew there was gonna be

some jabs at the steelers here. lol Congrats to the Packers.

They got it done and are champs. Congrats to the Steelers

on a good season. I enjoyed it. One game short. It's Mike Tomlin's best coaching job and

should have gotten some consideration for coach of the year but

the winner should have been Todd Haley. Now for Phunkdaddy's Revenge. hijacked

Brady/Manning/Big Ben have each suffered a Super Bowl loss. hmmm

Yup.

Only difference is, Manning and Roethlisberger would have to combine rings to get on Brady's level.

Really. Last time i checked the Gaytriots haven't won a title since 2004 and Big Ben

has won two since and Manning has won one since so STUFF IT And the last time the

Gaytriots appeared in a Super Bowl all bad ass and undefeated they had their asses

handed to them by an ex steeler Plaxico Burress.

Congrats on rooting for 4 teams in one post. That's quite the achievement. Which one is your actual team? Can I root for multiple teams if it means trying to make a point? Cuz I mean, I lived in Green Bay 7 years, and last I checked they just sent your boys home in tears. Can I claim that? Oh and does Vinatieri's ring with the Colts count for the Patriots tally? I'm not sure how your Super Bowl math works, so please help me.

Then you threw in the throwback 5-Championship Hat. How very modest of you.

Guess Big Ben trumps Terry Bradshaw because after all, it's been a couple decades since he won his rings.

Don't know how you came up with all this nonsense. lol

I only root for the Steelers. Last i checked you rooted for the Steelers to beat the Jets.

So are you a closet Steelers fan? I could care less about the Jets. I was jiving you.

I don't care for the Colts either dude. I wasn't even knocking Brady but i was just letting

you know the two qb's you tried to put down have won recent Super Bowls since Brady.

Dude you really had to bring a retired qb into the discussion when comparing current

qb's? Who's on deck next Bart Starr? lol

Yeah i didn't want to show off my six championship hat since i was sporting the shirt

with six you speak of PROUDLY

That's true. I did. I hate the Jets. Closet Steelers fan? No. The Jets could've played anyone and for that week I'd have backed the other team. And I was jiving Manning and Big Ben fans as much as you were jiving me. It's actually not all that uncommon to see fans root for a team playing their rival.

The Terry Bradshaw comment was simply to illustrate that winning Super Bowls more recently does not make you a superior QB. (Not to suggest a simple ring count is the only criteria either, as this leads Dan Marino and others being ranked WAY lower than anyone with some sense would think to rank them). But I thought it was fairly clear. Yes Big Ben and Manning have won more recently. But similar to Brady preferring to play in the SB over an MVP trophy (I agree with you, the guy has said as much himself) I would venture to guess Ben would take more championships over just claiming the most recent one.

And it just seems a bit inconsistent to boast about your team having the most rings (which of course is laudable, any fan would want to claim that for their team, and would be just as proud) then to turn around when comparing QBs and ring totals, to suddenly dismiss the total rings like they don't matter. By that logic Green Bay would be the superior franchise (all-time) because while they have 4 to Pittsburgh's 6, they have the most recent one.

My original comment was simply a light-hearted jab at Ben and Manning, it really was not as serious as you seem to have taken it. Hence the wink . I don't usually use emoticons when I am serious.

Edit: The 4 team thing was referring to your post seemingly supporting the Steelers, Giants, Jets, and Colts.

Maybe they can be a dynasty, they'll have to keep making wise decisions in the draft/free agency if they want to stay on top.
