I've been lactose intolerant since my late teens. I drink Lactaid 2% milk and use it on cereal. I also take by pill or drink priobiotic bacteria supplements which lets me eat cheese and ice cream. I've also found that I don't need the dose (esp. of pills, the little priobiotic yogurt drink bottles I'll down) recommended that two pills initially and then one a week or so. Being sick or stressed and the lactose intolerance returns, but now I just take more. But it's nice not to have to think about whether you want ice cream or not. Hope it helps. I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

You must try it. I swear its reallllllyy good. This may be the only icecream that you can still eat.
Just that flavor though, plain vanilla will rip a hole in your stomache.
