How do I find the time to find a new job to get out of my shitty one when I'm working eleven hours a day? :rageyemotey:

sad why is your job so shitty? you've not been long there?

Total rubbish. New company bought a number of colleges that were floundering, inheriting a huge bunch of pissed off students. People sit around yapping about changing procedures for hours but nothing gets solved. Meanwhile we power through two days of reactive disjointed and ineffective work for every day we turn up. Shitteous I tell you!

I cannot get enough of this guy's music at the moment.

THis is a great clip....just the acoustic and a really fun audience.

Check out from 6m30s when he starts a call and response chant with the audience, then makes them sing a whole bunch of hysterical tongue-twisters falloff

Valentine's day is bullshit! I mean it's cool to get flowers and go out eating & dancing then screw all night long to some Chi Lite and Prince music but on the real, people should live like this every day.

I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

Spot on.

Lots of people who don't do anything deciding they need to do a course. But because they're lazy they do it from home. Of course they don't do anything. Then they fail and blame it on me. lol

The master sells online courses from his college, for YEARS he's been on my back about learning html through online, but the thing is I'm too lazy to do an online course falloff

I need the discipline of having a clear time and place AWAY from home to devote myself 100%. It also helps me switch on and off "work" something I have trouble with. Once I start I don't want to stop, and that prevents me sleeping well.

I KNOW I'm the same. Too lazy to study from home. It's ironic I spend my day teaching people how to organise themselves and be self-disciplined when I'm so rubbish at it! falloff

Yeah I'm horrible at distance education. Unfortunately one of the courses I need is only offered online this semester (not sure if it's that way every semester). I need that face to face accountability where i hang my head in shame when my work isnt done. I'm generally a terrible student.

And there really are no breaks...

I'd probably have to fail us both though. lol

I miss Valentine's Day cards and candy from when I was in elementary school. First we made the little card holder out of paper plates and decorate them however we like. I would always give the best valentine to the boy I had a crush on and the worst one to the gross kid in the class.

I think the guy is hilarious. His jokes come fast and they often have multiple layers. But for whatever reason most of my friends think dude is the anti-christ of comedy. shrug Anyway, SNL isn't on here for another 90 minutes or so. I've got the DVR set to record it.

I think it's all that work you have been doing at school along with your new home dancing jig ! I can't wait to hear about you moving in and such. I especially can't wait until your daughter sees it!

Yeah she's excited about it. Gonna try to get her up here for the majority of the summer.

I think your daughter is close to my daughters age, nine. Will she get her own bedroom that is decorated special for her? I am hoping to do some traveling from Massachusetts to Florida this summer and it would be neat if we could meet up. I will have my daughter with me. She loves Science and I think she'd love the Smithsonian a lot.

That is a cute idea, and being that Valentines Day is in February the chocolates stayed hard and didn't get all melted and gross in the mail.

ps, my hometown is the birthplace of both the Valentine and the Birth Control pill.

I am enjoying Valentine's Day through my kids, I bought them Valentine's for their classmates and we had fun putting them together.

They make them so much nicer and the boxes include candy now! About time!

I still bought lots of chocolate treats and thsi morning I gave them each their own heart boxes of chocolates. biggrin

I love being the mom of a nine year old girl on Valentines day! Parties, pink clothes, candy cupcakes flowers I will buy her and of course also enjoy ! Who needs a sexual relationship on Valentines Day? It is a great day to tell grandparents, aunts, parents etc that you really love them!

I hate dealing with Special Ed departments in schools. Hate it with a passion!!!!! I can't understand why dealing with dyslexia is so difficult. Why did they stop calling it that? Now they call it some other thing that means the same thing and is making learning in a school enviroment hell for my daughter.

Thanks so much! I had a "team" meeting last Thursday and I was so dissatisfied that I will be spending next week learning state and federal laws. Time to leave the computer or I would write more!

Oprah and I are on the same page this year!!!! Her March issue is on the stands and I just bought it. I am still going at it but the clutter problem is not resolved. In big bold letters the cover reads "De-Clutter Your life , say goodbye to the stuff that is weighing you down!!" also on the cover is "I want to be lean and clean for the future" . Oprah is talking my kinda talk. I am so psyched.

I have been talking to my daughter about getting rid of stuff and getting ready for travel and possibly a move in the summer and that if we can't keep it together in this little apartment then we are not ready for something bigger and better. So far she is excited.
