With wind chill, it's -34 c (-29 f) here this morning. It doesn't bother me in the least, but I'm a cold weather person. I walk to and from work every day (about 25 minutes if I go at a good pace), regardless of the conditions.

It's crazy! It is 45 degrees here in GA, and TX is supposed to always be warmer than it is in GA!

2nd day stuck at home. With possable power outtages at any moment. *thus I am using more power to post on the org.

I suspect I will go to work tomorrow. Or that they will be open. They already said we would make up the lost day on to days in spring. But they said that unless it was pre-approved we can not take those days off. If we do we will get docked.

A few mornings ago it was 27 degrees. This morning it was 34 degrees, and this early afternoon it was 45 degrees.

I have a fire place with one sad log in it. it should burn well as it is 7 years old! I might have to light it.

oh and most the major and most smaller schools are closed for a 3rd day tomorrow!

But on the news just now they were saying the roads are still icy. and they said here's a driver that found a patch of Ice and flipped over. As if flipping over was a reward for finding the ice.

I do not wanna but I might have to go to wal mart later.

real quick: give some thought to anyone that lives near you that is older or has any medical issues or conditons that mak make it harder for them to get out or what have you. and check in on them, I am about to go with a neighbor to some houses to do some check ins.
