Another Herb Ritts freak, huh?
I'm waiting for compiled book of his already released books though. I recall reading somewhere that there'll be one with never before seen outtakes.

The photographs that you hanged on your living room's wall, the B&W ones by Lena Horne & Diana Ross, they were by? I remember you mentioning the photographer's name but I can't remember him. Does he have a book?

I love it | |

They aren't the traditionally sprawling coffee table books (only like 4" x 6"), but Angelika Taschen's ICONS international interior design series can keep me occupied for hours.

I love this type of book, most of them are quite large and take up a lot of shelf space, but i can't stop buying them. Two of my latest are.... [img:$uid]http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx218/MMikeyBee/untitled.jpg[/img:$uid] This is a beautiful visual history of the work of Keith Haring.
[img:$uid]http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx218/MMikeyBee/david-la-chapelle-heaven-to-hell.jpg[/img:$uid] And this is a beautiful picture book, of the work of photographer David LaChapelle.....amazing.

That is good, i would love to see his outside work, i have been to a couple of haring Exhibitions, works on canvas etc, but i would love to see where he worked originally.
We have an artist over here in the UK called Banksy, and his original works on buildings are now protected by the council.

Another fav of mine, this is a mega book about the work of Jeff Koons, lavish as fuck. Probably the definitive book on Koons so far. This originally came as a super limited edition, at nearly 3 times the size of this, individually signed by Koons, then Taschen made this easier to carry everyman edition.

This is probably my favourite coffee table type book, your table needs to be strong because this book is like the fucking titanic. This was (at the time) the most complete book of the work of UK artists Gilbert & George, i got this at their retrospective at Tate Modern a few years back. Their moto was always "art for all" and because of this, this tomb of a book (in 2 volumes) was only £40, which for the quality and size of the book was incredible value. I have seen this sell for over £100 on ebay, which is crazy, because rrp copies are still to be found if you know where to look. I tried searching for that edition you were talking about. Is this the one?

Because there other ones by different editors, and I'm not sure which one you were referring to.
