So you don't have anywhere to get that?

Yeah, my regular target, but I thought a super target would have more of the foods like a grocery store... This was just like my target near me... So I was wondering if there was even such a thing, but you answered my question that there is!

I love their snack foods!

Don't you live in Omaha? I used to go to the one on 144th and Maple all the time.

Dude...Super Target sells LIQUOR in Nebraska! When we went back to Omaha for future hubs to meet the family my hubs took pictures of the liquor section? He was so happy to buy stoli, groceries, and boxers all in one place! I think those photos are still in his phone.

What makes a Target a Super Target? Is it just the supermarket inside? If so, I live within walking distance of two Super Targets. But I don't go to them that often. shrug

hmm Two? I know there's one 125th Street and what, York, right? Where is the other one? I love Target, but I just cannot make myself trek to Brooklyn. You have to get up early and it takes forever so by the time you get there it's too crowded. How are the ones by you? I'm on the UWS so maybe if there's one that's kinda west-ish I could check it out...

The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

There's one on 116th and York and another one in the Bronx. Where I live in Harlem, they're both pretty much equidistant, and when the weather's decent, it's a nice walk to either one. They're both exactly the same, as far as I can tell, and the malls they're in seem to have a lot of the same stores.

Are you near the new Trader Joe's? If so, maybe we could work out an apartment swap! biggrin

Thanks for the info. I'm not too far from the new Trader Joes (before I moved last year, I would have been about 5 blocks). I don't go there that much because when I have, they have been out of stock of tons of stuff and the staff doesn't seem to know it. For example, I was looking for oranges and couldn't find them so I asked. The clerk was like, "Oh we're out." So I asked when they would be getting more. He said, "Next year." (This was November maybe?) confuse The same thing happened with the MorningStar stuff. Completely sold out a couple of times and the staff had no idea. Plus, like you mentioned, their produce is not so great. Couple that with the fact that grocery shopping is one of my least favorite things, and I especially dislike it in really crowded stores, TJs is too much for me!

I miss HyVee! When I go to visit my parents I go there -- it's so spacious and there are so many options -- it's like grocery heaven. And cheap! (Even though I think it's expensive for there.) Except they are somewhat limited in types of variety. One time I wanted to make spinach and goat cheese salad. I couldn't find goat cheese anywhere. I had to settle for feta. But there was practically an entire case full of different variations of Kraft shredded cheeses. lol

I pretty much skip the "Uptown" section of Trader Joe's and head straight down to the bottom floor ("Downtown"). They have several things I'm addicted to, like Milton's Healthy Multigrain Bread (they're the only place in the city that I've ever seen carry it) and those frozen items. They have tons of things made without preservatives, and I love that.

Come to Wisconsin some time. You can buy goat cheese at almost any gas station/mini mart. lol

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
