Well, there's always that option but given that the planet is round, he couldn't really fall off so much as walk the circumference of the planet until he dropped dead from exhaustion. geek

I have a forgiving spirit. lol For those of you who, like me, are critical of Tyler's work, is there anything he could do to make up for his past crimes and win your respect?

Well, I've never really had a problem with how he's interpeted his own material, that's just me. Now, I'm emotionally spent on the tragic, abused black female after "Precious", I don't want to sit and watch anything remotely like that right now. So since he's got the keys to the kingdom I'd like to see what he's going to do, for others, in the way of opportunity to show case their talent.

Best Tyler Perry movies:

Diary of a Mad Black Woman - saved by the performance of Kimberly Elise.

The Family That Preys - saved by the performances of Kathy Bates (who was underutilized) and Rockamond Dunbar (who never gets enough work).

Worst Tyler Perry movies:

Everything else...especially Daddy's Little Girls.

Wait. Tyler is going to be Alex Cross eek ? No! I love you, babe, but uh...NO. Direct it if you have to but, wow, I know Morgan wasn't right for the role, but, oh pleeeze reconsider.

I'd rather he act than direct.

HELLO!!!!!

Ya know, it doesn't help that he himself admitted that he won't try to change his method as long as his fans flock the theatre to see Madea The Incredible Mammy. And that he's content with his directional methods.

Yeah, decent guy and all but professionally I don't find any redeeming qualities sigh

People are such haters. I think this is a really funny and attention-getting campaign. The movie will suck, no doubt, but this stuff is cute.

No, it is not. I just watched it for the first time last week, and that's one of the greatest current films I've seen in a very long time. And I'm a movie fanatic who can be very critical, and I do not exaggerrate. The cast (PERFECT), its content (albeit HORRIBLY saddening), and his style of cinematography are supreme. I say you should view it and determine your own opinion of it. smile 'Cause if I had relied on what I consider to be unfair misjudgments of the film (that I kept hearing/reading everywhere), I would have missed out on seeing an excellent production.

I didnt think it was his best; but I feel it was well done..the onyl part I didnt get too much into was the random poetry said at the same time on the climax of the film...I understand what he tried to do but it came off a bit sloppy. Otherwise it has a really great sotry(ies)
