About to try to get to sleep again. I accidentally passed out (yet again) for about 3 hours or so. So then I ended up being awake for maybe 4 hours. Let's see if I can get back to sleep for another 3-4 before work.

Obviously being on here is not a good start.

The children have just gone to bed, my husband is doing press-ups behind me on the lounge floor and the TV is on...

I'm drinking tea, orging, emailing (or trying to) and on facebook. I'm thinking about having a bath.

The thread title made me think of this song:

What's weird is the title of this song is, "What's Up", but in the song, it's sung, "What's Going On". giggle

Anyway! In response to this thread, we had a big snowstorm today. It started with freezing rain last night, which of course, turned into a big, thick sheet of ice everywhere. Then it snowed on top of that. There has been no school for the kids for the past two days, and events were being cancelled left and right, due to inclement weather. I'm hoping it stops tomorrow, so that things can get back to normal.

We just went through the little girls' room with a fine-tooth comb, making repairs and reorganizing shit.

I made an awesome honey-ginger pork dish with ginger-ale glazed sweet potatoes that everybody loved. woot!

I'm keeping an extra kid this weekend, and since she did chores like one of our own, I'm going to bake cupcakes with them now.

Chris and the boy just had a heart to heart that made me kind of faggy inside. mushy

I want three day weekends.

I'm still obsessed with making tiny pies. I've so far made tiny key lime pies with candied-ginger/graham cracker streusel topping, chocolate cream pies with toasted-almond caramel, tiny apple pies, chicken and mushroom pies, and I think that's it.

I want to try itty bitty steak and Guinness pies.

This sounds super yummy!!!!

My cat is in the second story window chittering at the birds in the back yard, wishing he could jump through the screen and eat those suckers. My cats were kittens last spring, so this is the first time they've seen all the birds and animals come back after Winter. They are most definitely more interested than last year. lol

Otherwise, I'm spending way too much time prepping our ongoing D&D campaign... and I should be doing it now instead of hanging out here for two hours.

I'm making an eggplant caserole for dinner, too. Kind of like eggplant lasagna. Thats whats going on in my house...

I'm about to leave to go to one of my bff's to supervise doing his taxes. (I won't do them for him, but I'll watch him and tell him if he's doing it right or wrong. lol)

Then he's taking me to dinner as a thank you. woot!
