I just got my nails done in a french tip after all the nail threads lately i got the bug... The dog keeps farting and it reallllllyyy smells bad.... im home alone for the next 3 days and im already bored...Im starving but I feel to lazy to cook... Its cold out again and im so sick of winter i could puke... AND i need to iron most of my dress pants...

At my place this very minute? I have just rearranged my living room, eaten some leftovers for dinner, and now I'm having a glass of wine and watching White Noise (which is silly).

Just went downstairs and got me some chips and soda, pepsi. Watching TV, we have a storm advisory, it's snowing now, and the horizon over the lake is spooky dark. If I had the house to myself for 3 days . . . . well I can't say.

I have Much Ado About Nothing playing OnDemand, there's a load of towels in the washer, and I'm trying to stay awake 'til my pizza gets here.

I did tons! Well, I have a pretty small place, so "tons" is relative. But I moved a bookcase over to a different wall, moved the TV around, switched the area rug, and moved some other shelves. And I love it. Feels like I have a whole new place now.

We are going to have a very hot day again today, yesterday was 102°F, today will be 99°F

My kids Wii game just malfunctioned and all hell broke loose and the phone rang during the middle of that. At some stage, when the noise dies down later I am going to look at candle labels I'm designing for a friend, although if it gets really hot inside everyone is going to get even more cranky (kids didn't sleep well at all, so hot in their rooms).

We just went through the little girls' room with a fine-tooth comb, making repairs and reorganizing shit.

I made an awesome honey-ginger pork dish with ginger-ale glazed sweet potatoes that everybody loved.

I'm keeping an extra kid this weekend, and since she did chores like one of our own, I'm going to bake cupcakes with them now.

Chris and the boy just had a heart to heart that made me kind of faggy inside.

I want three day weekends.

I'm still obsessed with making tiny pies. I've so far made tiny key lime pies with candied-ginger/graham cracker streusel topping, chocolate cream pies with toasted-almond caramel, tiny apple pies, chicken and mushroom pies, and I think that's it.

I want to try itty bitty steak and Guinness pies.

It's still a work in progress (I haven't put the curtains up yet, for example, and the walls are bare because I'm still sorting out how I'm going to decorate them), so don't judge too harshly. Oh! And in case anyone's curious, that's Matt Damon's head on the TV. I was watching Green Zone whilst moving furniture.

since the equipment and studio costs so much, it leaves little leftover for props/costumes/hair/make-up - MY department. So, what is the point of a slick, crisp professional looking vid if the content looks amateurish?

We've gone from fur coats to animal costumes to animal masks to plain black leotards in a sucky sequence of compromising.
