You know, mixed people don't usually take this kind of stuff as a compliment. I've listened to many of them say that this is offensive. It's 2011, and mixed people are still exoticized?

And I've met plenty of biracial people of many backgrounds who were plain janes or down right ugly. Just like the rest of us who are one race, they don't all come out beautiful.

I'm not questioning the moderators point of view about race or what anyone else believes. My only issue, SCNLDS non-offensive but direct opinion was censored. It's that simple , maybe I'm missed something. I've read far, far, far worse things typed by others on this board and, nada happens. We shall have different points of view on any given subject. I don't think you can expect everyone to agree nor should I or anyone else get our bras or BVDs in a bunch when someone expresses an opposing views. You debate / rebut, agree to disagree, or get off the boards.

It seems this whole thread, singling out a single racial mix as somehow more attractive than others (maybe not explicitly saying it, but implying it) is offensive, and that was all you were saying.

I don't know what they thought you said, but as a boring white guy I felt kind of the same reaction as you, namely that I am not exotic and somehow less desirable for it.

I mean, I think there is nothing wrong with having personal preferences, but I am not about to say any race or mix of races is inherently more beautiful than any other.

And yes, I concur with folks to state that people in bi-racial relationships can be racist.

It happens a lot where I live... and the children suffer.

anyway, it's no guarantee that black/asian or any mix is going to come out beautiful or even cute. you get two decent looking people together and you get a decent looking kid. you get two ugly people together or even one ugly person and a decent looking person and it's a toss up with odds going to the ugly gene.

I think Kimora Lee and Tae Heckard are good looking. I think Tiger Woods is ugly.

If that's all you said then NO, not snip worthy. It's true though, by default being mixed is always considered exotic or beautiful. I've seen plenty non-mixed folk who are beautiful and exotic and plenty mix folk who just look....average.
