Not waiting on a W-2, but a 1099 (which is just as bad as waiting on a W-2). Hope your W-2 comes soon.

WTF?? I've never even have heard of such a thing.

Iam hopeless at bothering to fill and send back forms. In the UK, our tax(es) are calculated for us monthly (unless self-employed). I think you guys in the US get clobbered alot less with income tax then we in the UK do.

make sure you all look into or at least be aware that the IRS is delaying *until the end of February* processing many returns. A number of adjustments or deductions will cause the IRS to refuse the the return until they can update their software.
