bottom of the handbag specifically, if you rest it on the floor in the bathroom then up on your kitchen bench!'

all phones, especially shared ones in offices ill I used to break out on one side of my face all the time, until I realised it was the PHONE side shake then I brought antiseptic wipes to work and that fixed that.

I don't use a kitchen sponge, I have a drawer full of face washers, and use each one ONCE and then they go in the laundry basket.

Sponges gross me the fuck out. I don't even own one. barf I keep a box of brillo pads under the sink for pots and pans. But other than that, that is what Bounty is for.

I've reached in darkness and come out with treasure
I layed down with love and I woke up with lies
Whats it all worth only the heart can measure

Men don't touch these. So women are probably dirtier after all. Who knew?

It's so not green, but we use paper towels to clean the kitchen counter tops and stuff. It's cleaner than using a washcloth over and over.

Elevator buttons and escalator handrails. ill

The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

Also, I'm supersticious, so I never put my purse on the floor. Something that if you put your pocket book on the floor, you'll bee broke the rest of your life.

But I can see make up getting gross. If u leave it out, or if other people use it. I carry it in my purse. I clean my phone off with windex on a cloth. I worked in a call center, we became germ-a-phobes. Always had Clorox wipes for everything.

nod

you know they had on A Current Affair a sensational story about all the bacteria and fungi they found on supermarket cart handles - they took a swab, grew it up all nasty looking in a petri dish, then went back to the supermarket customers and accosted them asking them if they knew how dirty the handles were, and suggested that at each day carts should be washed, and all customers agreed that some kind of sanitising system would be a good idea.

shortly after the story went to air, wouldn't you know it, these kind of things were for sale!!!

anyway, to cut a long story short, the last person they talked to a microbiologist(?)

and asked him about the idea of sanitising the carts, and he said bad idea. Pretty much all the bacteria and fungi found were harmless and constant exposure was necessary for building up strong immune systems. His segment was very fast and low key at the end, since it was a real anti-climax to the HORROR GERM STORY falloff

I have heard these are fairly clean because people tend to only touch them after they wash their hands

people only wash their hands when others are looking I reckon, so there goes your theory lol

a restroom at a fast food place is cleaned half-hourly, supposedly, and those ones are a lot cleaner than the one in your own home boxed

it's not just my theory, it was a study.

My theory as to WHY this is, however, may be that the people who are being watched and actally wash their hands open the door and collect all the dirty germs that everyone else left behind. nod

this could be true, but I have some questions in my mind. Only one person uses my restroom whereas those are constantly in use, and by people who frequent McDonalds, no less!!

lol yeah I have always thought it was silly to teach boys to pee standing up, when aim is so clearly unimportant to them

I don't know if women are the same, but at least half of the men I see in public restrooms don't wash their hands.sick
