I didn't start using foundation until I was in my 30s.

Now I never leave home without it.

I will not touch foundation! But I do use a little concealer under my eyes...just started to use it...you know with getting all old and shit. Before that, I only ever used a bit of loose powder.

If you want a glowing, flushed blush look, you need to get a liquid blush/cheek stain.

Like this stuff.

Dot a circle of dots on, then quickly blend out. Repeat and put a layer of powder on. Your cheeks will look airbrushed and pinky.

BLEND WELLLLLLL Dani.

I swear if you come out lookin like this...

Stop. lol My landlord has one of those stupid things sitting in our basement.

Seriously though. This make up quest is gonna end up costing me a fortune I can see it.

Hallalujia for income tax, but there goes the downpayment for our house. lol

Girl DO NOT blow too much money on this.
When it comes down to it, you can achieve the look you're going for pretty much by way of any of the suggestions given by most on here. No need to go and get them ALL.

All these young women are in for not-so-happy awakenings. As I've said before, gettin' old ain't for sissies.

Then again, given the amount of slap it requires, maybe it is... hmmm

Well, I'm not young...I'm turning 37 this year. So far, foundation will not be touching my face but I never used to wear concealer and now I do...a little.

But I hope I'll be like my mom, 63, wears a clean face and looks 15 years younger than she is.

Ummmm...37 is young. Trust me. lol

I never wore foundation - ever - 'til I was 45. And I don't need it now. (When I play golf in the summer, for example, I just use a sunscreen that has a slight tint.) But there's no question that it does even everything out and make you look better. shrug

Just wait 'til your estrogen level goes in the toilet. That's all I'm sayin'.

Well, I hope my face doesn't suddenly become all uneven...I've never had anything but perfect skin my whole life (even now with the wrinkles)...it's the only thing I've had that is naturally nice.

But if it does, I'll definitely use foundation...but I'll probably water it down with a moisturizer though so it's not so heavy.
