Make up question

Okay. I want glowie looking cheeks.

I wanna order this. Is it basically the same as having a brush bronzer illuminator trio????

Do you use it the same?

Blush is blush, bronzer is bronzer.

That looks pink to me.

bronze = "tan"/sunkissed

pink = flushed cheeks (which are in at the moment) wink

No, but I mean do you apply it the same way you would blush, bronzer, and illuminator??? I'm so confused. The auction says they are

"Beauty Powder, Sheertone shimmer bluch, and blush powder."

I don't know whaat that means. neutral

Okay to make this easier. I want my cheeks to look sorta like this but less dramatic.

How many times a day do you say this? falloff

Well, Beauty Powder sounds like a bullshit selling term. lol

Shimmer usually means light sparkle, hence "glow" and I already told you that blush is blush.

When it comes to face powder products (color) it's not always a matter of whether you apply the same or specifically to the item. Application will just change the effect, not the effectiveness of it.

Like, you can use the right color blush as bronzer and vice-versa.

You're more confused now, arent you. neutral

That's the flushed look I was talking about.

You apply the color to the apple of your cheek and blend well towards the temple.

A lot. lol That and 'I don't know what's going on'. lol

Um I kinda get it.

So should I basically get that color kit and fool around with it?

I'm a make-up artist, and to achieve that effect I use a shimmery blush then a hightlighter on the cheekbone itself...

If it breaks when it bends, U better not put it in!

Well, for one, they don't seem to be offering any sort of bargain.

OH!!!

Well in that case, tell me what to do.

I wanna have a cute glowie face for my wedding in a couple weeks, since I'm like 50lbs over my usual weight, I feel less than beautiful and want a pretty but simple face.

I would play a bit till you get the desired look.

You could try both suggestions on this thread and see what works for you best.

Have you considered going to a counter to have someone demonstrate on you how to do it?

That's what folk are there for.

If you want a glowing, flushed blush look, you need to get a liquid blush/cheek stain.

Like this stuff.

Dot a circle of dots on, then quickly blend out. Repeat and put a layer of powder on. Your cheeks will look airbrushed and pinky.

It's what you make it.

What to do?

Do the cheek stain (like the Benefit one I posted), and keep the eye makeup on your upper lid. No eyeliner under the eye. Pretty girl.

It's what you make it.

I'll try it Erin, thanks. Where can you find that stuff at?

I never wear make up on my lower lid, it never looks right on me, although I'm prob just doing it wrong. I'm not much of a make up artist.
