I said the same thing. The promo made it sound like they were giving it a whole segment. I guess their "audience" ain't checking for Steve like that.

A friend just emailed me the following: "She received $6MM in the divorce settlement. She spent it all."

Now, I don't know if this is true because she moved out of their house and was selling her stuff for cash before the divorce was even finalized. If this is true, Steve should release this info and shut it down. Plus, it doesn't go with her story that she signed everything away to Steve and the atty.

I don't think so. She filed for divorce in 2005. It was finalized somewhere between then and when she began suing him for messing over her in the divorce settlement, in November 2007. If she blew $6 million and was coming back for more in less than two years, the judge would have clowned her ass...right then and there.

Hold on. Let me change that. I don't hope so. After thinking about it, that actually could explain how she lost all custody of her son. The judge might have clowned her ass for real. I don't know.

You know what all this mess is really making me think about what she's doing. I'm inclined to believe your friend, it sort of makes sense. Here she is broke, now in 2011 talking about the effects of a divorce she had in 2005 from a man who is booming in money due to bullshit books he writing. In her vids on Youtube she states that her inspiration for making the vids in the first place was due to a book she read which is a rebuttal to his first book, and also due to an article in Essence magazine when he was on the cover. I sat down and actually read the article and all it was talking was how difficult Steve felt his life had become at the time of his divorce and how down he felt, blah blah blah, but it didn't at mention anything directing about Mary...just that he was divorcing her in 2005 that's about it. So I can hardly believe that a simple article in Essence magazine had her raging enough to want to go directly on Youtube to explain some things when she really wasn't being talked about. And the parts when she kept talking about that book she read is sort of bothering me. Like why did she say "at first i picked it up and then put it down a few times until i could really get into it" so basically you telling me that the book is shit in the beginning but once you got to the middle you got inspired? And still how did you lose full custody of your son? That's another part that bothers me, if her beef is really with Steve, then why bring the son into it? I have to do a Keith Sweat..."Somethin', somethin'....somethin' somethin' just ain't right..."

The more attention one draws on themeselves, the more smart people are going to investigate your side of the story to see if everything makes sense. I always question one's motive, when they air their laundry in public....

I'm not sure what the status of her 2007 suit is but this $6 mil settlement doesn't seem plausible to me because the whole point of the lawsuit was about him NOT giving her anything other than the $1000 per month in child support. Besides, she was selling her furniture, minks, shoes, and handbags back in '06. And considering the low cost of living in Texas I don't see her blowing $6 mil in 3 years.

Well we just going to have to agree to disagree on this one. Either way, she still messed up by putting the vids on Youtube and ruined any chance of being justified monetarily if that was one of her goals to achieve by doing it this way. I'm sure now Steve will slap another lawsuit on her for slander. Whether he does or doesn't, or whether she gets what's owed to her or not...life goes on.

I still think if she got 6 million in the divorce settlement, a judge would have tossed her on her ass, when she started suing Steve in 2007 and I also think Steve wouldn't have one single problem with putting that on full frontal blast.

If Mr. Harvey had written a book about what he learned and what mistakes he made in the course of his upteem marriages . . . then the "dirt" dished by an ex- spouse would've been neutralized pretty much.
