I'll be 50 on Thursday, but folks say I look 35. Good genetics, working out and trying to eat decent helps.

even though I'm young, for the past 2 years, I've seen my eyes differently from before though they are my favourite feature and used to start crying so much...I guess I'm seeing pain and emotional scars I need to work on

but I also see influences of what my heroes, in my life and from afar have made me

Eyes say so much.... Just do not let those scars dictate your life. hug

yeah that's what I'm definitely working on, it was pretty scary for me from 2009-2010 and it went down when I changed my hairstyle for a bit...and then janet happened to get short hair too at almost the same time!

Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect, it means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections... unknown

eek I am looking forward to not giving a flying fudge about things like I do now. MY GOD. Oh to be 58 like my father and be as carefree as the days are long...ohgoon He's that kind of mellow that comes with age--seeing it all, working through it all, and comin' out gold and platinum! I already know I'm gonna be wrinkly. But it will be graceful. I've watched so many of my aunts age with style and grace. The factor of not giving a fudge will also triple. The whole world will think I'm on some kind of happy time pill. I'll probably paint suggestive flowers that are really colorful crotches or something.

What I'm NOT looking forward to is the heightened possibility of dementia. It runs on my father's side with all the women, AND on my mother's side. Not to mention the heart issues on my father's side. But other than that, I can be assured I'll have a full head of hair, a love for shimmering berets, and a big mouth. lol I love my grandma for that. She gets to say anything! Sweet as she is, she's been known to just pop up and say what she feels.

I guess it's 50/50. I'm still fairly young, trying to get through this crazy period first.

Well, I know I'm good looking but wouldn't go that far lol She is one of most gorgeous women on the planet. I was grieving michael so much and my own life had fallen apart right before he passed away so it was a double whammer for me and I'm still recovering....people used to called me mj cause of being pale with the dark eyes and dark hair and cause I used to dance to him at school, so I would remember that often and my mom would remind me about stuff like that when it was all happening and it was so painful sad I remember latoya saying she couldn't look in the mirror , I'm sure janet felt the same too...I Feel silly saying this cause I just look like myself, not really them, but I'm just going by experience

It really bugs me that everyone I run into my age from my school days look so old, tired and mis-shaped. Yeah, that's bothering me the most.

I know the feeling, or if they have kids and are married. I don't want either at all, but I still look much younger than them though also a little bit matured at the same time.
