Hell the same thing happened to them too lol
i think kurt angle and dean malenko would disagree as well
omg i remember perry saturn's angel with moppy!! lol man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81 |

The McMahon/Helmsley era was the shit!
When Steph was about to marry Test and HHH came out to show the video of he and Steph getting married in a drive thru in Vegas...HILARIOUS!
Then the ultimate swerve...when Daddy's little girl turned out to be down with the Game and helped in the beatdown of her daddy...AWESOME!
That was the best thing about WCW's rise...it gave Vince legitimate competition and forced him to put on good TV.
Maybe if he had legit competiton now...
That's one era when I'm watching old clips on Youtube or on WWE Classics On Demand, I skip over. Vince, Shane, Linda, and Stephanie took up so much airtime that it was a breath of fresh air when they all decided to go back to behind the scenes
2000-2003 had things I REALLY hated. One of them being the demise of both WCW and ECW
If he had competition now, he would have to take notice and evolve
GTFOH that was one of the last good years in the WWE sit down somewhere. The Rock was on fire during that time and the return of stone cold , it was good television during that time. It's one of the last times when I could really get into it and couldn't miss a PPV. I can't even count how times I seen the WWE live during that ERA. |

Aren’t we talking about wrestling now though, no doubt those were the golden years but in RECENT years the early 00’s were good. I take the early 00’s over anything Randy Orton or John Cena doing now. You might as well have stop watching when 2000 hit if you skip the early 00’s.
Whenever I do watch it on demand (very rare) I would watch the early years of the Attitude era though. But to say the early 00’s was bad is crazy imo. [Edited 1/27/11 18:08pm] |

Which version of Degeneration X do you prefer? The original Shawn, HHH and Chyna or HHH, New Age Outlaws and X-Pac. I was a little fond of the later version during the whole Triple H and Stephanie takeover nothing beats the original though.
The original DX with Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Chyna, AND Rick Rude. |

they're TOO RECENT. When I watch stuff on Youtube or on WWE Classics, I'm watching for stuff from 1988-1998. The 2000s are too new for me. I'm just now getting interested again in watching late 1998 Raw episodes
My main problem with the early 2000s is mainly with the oversaturation of McMahons. Did we really need to see Vince, Linda, Stephanie, and Shane all on one show? "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world." |

I do too but you’re saying the Era was bad during that time when it wasn’t. We are just going to have to agree to disagree the early 00’s were good not sorry to say. I felt it pretty much went down after that. There were a couple moments after that but no. |

I didn't say it was bad, but it had moments that I hated (the McMahons, the WWE incarnation of the nWo....) but stuff like the Undisputed Championship, Kurt Angle becoming aggressive, Shawn Michaels returning, the TLC matches....that I loved

Smackdown is gonna be here in Sacramento in a couple of weeks. I may go and check it out. I haven't been to a wrestling event since 1998 "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world." |

yeah. TNA decided not to renew his contract back in 2008 when they signed with Flair. They probably didn't want any problems due to Steiner and Flair hating each other's guts "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. the new "they" is(are?) likely the main event mafia, or so the rumor mill goes...Steiner back and in a suit, no less...Nash & Stings sudden departure shrotly after the Hogan/Bischoff era began...Nash has been very vocal as of late about being "retired"-kayfabe at it's finest, rumors of Booker T's return...it all adds up....I really like TNA and I'm not giving up on it anytime soon but this seems like a shitty angle... How is it you feel? |

Nah, Nash actually was shooting. His contract was up and he was done. Even HBK congratulated him on his retirement.
I was kinda hoping for Sting not to renew his contract with TNA because WWE was hoping to induct him into the Hall Of Fame "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world." |
