What I wanna know, since it's been agreed that WWE has fallen apart in the last decade or so, is why do people still watch it now?

Although it pales compared to what it used to be, there's a still good stuff on there. People like Daniel Bryan, John Morrison, Edge, CM Punk, Ezekial Jackson, Ted Dibiase Jr, Kofi Kingston, and even Santino

and of course Randy muthafuckin' Orton! lol

their problem is bad writing, not pushing the right talent, and focusing on bullshit like The Nexus, the Vickie Guerreo overkill (we don't need her on both shows), the anonymous GM on Raw, Michael Cole in general, now this new group the Corre

The Divas division is weak especially with The Bella Twins, Eve, Rosa and Maryse while Gail Kim who can actually wrestle just sits on the wayside. Hopefully now with them signing Awesome Kong, we'll see a change. That woman does not play around

That's why I wonder why they haven't changed that yet. lol I know they watch for the talent they do use (like the names you mention). The TNA women definitely don't play. Me and a guy had a conversation about that last year. lol

Just from watching it for a while and just hoping that it will have its spark again. I can’t get with a lot of the new people on there I don’t even watch every PPV like I used to. These days’ wrestling is on but it’s watching me instead of me watching it. I tune in and out on it now .. tonight I might sit down and really watch it. Like we discuss a couple pages back they fell off a couple years ago. But the younger set are still into it that's why it's still on.

Like Bboy mention Bad writing, the late 90’s into mid 00’s the storylines were very good. I used to really hate the heel not thinking this is fiction that’s how good the stories were.

The thing is Awesome Kong is so powerful, that she is better off wrestling against some of the male wrestlers. I can see her win the WWE Intercontinental title at some point.

I'm a life long wrestling fan...over the last few years, my interest has waned but I still keep up with it and have really grown fond of TNA...I was always partial to WCW over the WWE/WWF...although I think the WWE is pretty dull now, I do like the fact that I can let my kids watch it...for too long, all available wrestling wasn't kid friendly whatsoever and who likes wrestling better than kids??? I think its fully possible to deliver an entertaining product without language, over the top violence and sexual innuenedo...the main thing that has restored some excitement for me is that you can now see defections from one organization to the other...that adds a level of intrigue that was sorely missed after the demise of WCW...

I attended WCWs last pay per view, Greed, in Jacksonville, Florida...I've lost count of how many live events I've attended, I've been going since I was a child...I was at the Georgia Dome for Nitro the nite that Kevin Nash layed down for Hulk Hogan and gave him the title...I partied with the Mean Street Posse at the Cheetah in Atlanta after a live event...Joey Abs was a cool motherfucker and bought drinks all nite lol

How is it you feel?

Morrison is kinda like Shawn Michaels: long hair, ripped body, flamboyant pants, glasses, the fur coats, the Hollywood poses he does when he enters, and he does those high flyer moves like Shawn and Rey Mysterio. As for Cena, hell yeah he's overrated.

I thought he was overrated nod lol Is Shawn Michaels wresting on a regular basis or is he like semi-retired? It seems like the only time I hear or see about him is when they have the Wrestlemania events on pay-per-view, which should be soon.

Shawn's retired and does NOT want to come back lol but he is being inducted in the Hall of Fame this year and it's well deserved

He and Undertaker had the best match at Wrestlemania 25, completely making all the young guys look pretty bad. Two 40 somethings with long histories with injuries (Undertaker's knees are like dust now and his neck isn't in best shape either and Shawn's ongoing back and knees have hindered him for 15 years) yet they put the rest of the roster to shame

You guys should check out Shawn's shoot interview from 1999 where he talks about the Kliq, Triple H, the tension between him and Bret Hart, his opinion on Hulk Hogan and Owen Hart who had just died

That's his main drawback. His mic skills are HORRIBLE. If they had him take acting or speech lessons for a couple of weeks and had him watch promos by people like HBK, Ric Flair, Kevin Nash, Sting, and others, he could be the top draw. I don't see Vince giving him or Daniel Bryan that kind of chance tho. He's always seemed to have a hard on for big guys like Hogan, HHH, John Stud, and even Shaemus, who is NOT talented

I dig Cena. One thing he had was charisma. It was even starting to build a little when

he was a heel. I think he had the same drive for the business as the Rock did.

Now i just think like Hulk Hogan his good guy persona has run it's course and it's

probably time for him to become a heel again.

I was just tired of him... he has become the Hogan of this generation. And to me that's not a good thing to be proud of. Like I said I'm losing interest in the future of wrestling.

Sheamus is just a brute. He's a little green but you can't deny he's got potential to be a MONSTER. The way he completely DESTROYED Jamie Noble (& supposedly caused him to retire as a result) was one of the most believable heel-vs-jobber matches in recent memory. To this day I wonder how much of that beating was scripted & how much may have been authentic.

I like cena too but I can understand how others don’t. Most of the time its guys who are not fond of him and women (me) lol and children that are fan’s. He definitely has the Hogan thing going but I see the rock comparisons too as far as him being the face of the WWE, movies etc. He is really the BIG main star in the WWE imo , WWE can’t make any stone colds or rock’s anymore but he is the closet thing this generation has to one

I think Randy Orton is the closest thing to a Stone Cold type right now, especially when he attacked all of the McMahon family during that fued with Triple H. That was CLASSIC

I’m talking about as far as a big star, he’s not. But yeah the way he was with Vince is in some ways even though no matter what randy does he still has a heel way of doing it people don't know if to cheer or boo. Stone Cold didn't have that until later on when he joined vince(which I hated) but interesting. I like Orton but I remember when he was a punk bitch then all of a sudden a Legend killer he got good writing behind him I tell you. lol

while i'm a wrestling fan there is a part of me that has the attitude of eh. Raw is still the best one out there due 2 the live factor. if i miss smackdown i'm not 2 upset about it. TNA tends 2 put me 2 sleep at times. That being said HHH needs 2 come back 2 wrestling and fast. WWE fucked up once it went from WWF (i'm sorry but fuck them pandas!!) it's more vibrant and needs that POP from the likes of HHH. Cena, mysterio, edge are like the only ones left that gets that POP. the problem with the current WWE really stems from when Vince bought WCW and closed it, then turned ECW into a joke.

i will say the womens division on TNA is better than WWE not only in looks but more in talent. They wrestle like they know what they are doing. Please LAY COOL ..no LAY BORING ..melina is the only decent female wrestler on WWE and that's even given her more props than she should. My bad the Glamorzone Beth Phoenix is the only true female wrestler alongside Gail Kim.

somebody bitch slap michael cole 4 me will ya?

as 4 TNA, hmmm it's nostalgia if best cause mike morgan can't lead that show. Mr Anderson/Mr Kennedy i wish never left the WWE. The whole guerilla style of filming of backstage is sub par for me. and it seems most wrestlers there imitate others.

there is room 4 improvement all around and we'll see what will happen.

oh good wrestling site 4 news is www.wrestlezone.com

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

falloff ... I think Mickie James was pretty good but WWE let her go I think she's on TNA now if i'm not mistaken. Why didn't they Push Mr. Kennedy more , for a little while he was about to be a main eventer than they stop promoting him.
