CM Punk and Buffalo Bills linebacker Shawne Merriman engaged in a war of words yesterday on Twitter in regards to the NFL star encountering some WWE Divas during the Raw brand's stay in Costa Rica.

Punk wrote: "Watching Shawne Merriman of the buffalo bills hit on our divas and strike out, reminds me of the Bills in the super bowl. #choke."

Merriman replied: "I was just giving you guys some hope look like you were struggling by the pool. Sympathy from Lights."

Punk said: "If you could get to a QB as fast as you ran after our divas maybe you'd make headlines being a pro bowler and not a creep."

Merriman added: "How about I come and deliver a nice special lightsOut ass woopin tonight Costa Rican Style."

Punk closes: "Clearly, I have defeated you. However, You will have plenty of time to think of a better come back while you ride the bench for another entire season. Good luck getting to the Super Bowl! With love, CM Punk."

Merriman replies: "Do me a favor turn your little wrestling underwear around and give yourself a wedge – see you later Punk without the CM."

falloff Punk owned him lol

Now, they're 10 years older, 10 years slower, and have 10 years of injuries. Including the times where Hunter tore both quads.

Call me a mark, but I was actually hoping for Sting/Taker. Some fan even made this

I wonder why Sting didn't sign with the WWE this time?!?

Ah shit. The Rock's boring ass repetitive speeches are so 2002.

He damn near put me to sleep. Maybe he should make another

Tooth Fairy movie. lol

Yeah, but the last part "Yabba Dabba Bitch" had me ROLLIN' lol

This Raw wasn't that good. They had one long ass promo at the beginning, a couple of worthless matches, a really long BS segment with the 2 announcers, and 2 interviews via satellite

Felt like an episode of TNA lol

TNA Impact is no where close to boring as WWE Raw. And besides, Smackdown is a better show than Raw.

I assume it's a comfort zone. TNA has a way better schedule (they film 2-3 episodes at a time) and he's still getting a pretty good paycheck from them

So Sting is back and is now the TNA World Champion. The arena that TNA was in last week was a lot bigger than the Impact Zone and it looked like it was sold out. Good job TNA biggrin

I like Sting, but there's no way in the fuck he should be the Champion in TNA at the age of 52!

Impact looked a better outside the Impact Zone, but the show sucked.

They really need to get their shit together. Starting with firing Russo.

Yeah, Steiner's 48.

I usually don't mind guys that are older still wrestling.

Hell, Flair still kicks ass. Terry Funk is probably wrestling in some High School gym this week.

But, these guys don't have it anymore!

Sting had to wrestle in a fucking T-Shirt because he was so out of shape!

And I appreciate Steiner from a mic skills standpoint. He's always someone you can count on for both intentional, and unintentional laughs.

But, there's no way in the fuck he and Sting should be involved in major storylines in the year 2011!

So is Ricky Morton. lol

As far as Ric Flair, i don't have to see him wrestling in a major event ever again but as long

I think they're just giving Sting the belt one last time before he leaves, and dare I say it, signs a Legends deal with WWE like he should have this year lol

I'm a huge Scott Steiner fan but I agree dude can't do it anymore. If he was a manager or some kind of enforcer, it would work. Plus, this program he has with Rob Terry is hilarious because although Steiner's mic skills were never the best, he has more personality in his left boot than Terry has in his entire body lol Dude was just standing there flexing while Steiner was talking trash lol

and yet again, Randy Savage is passed over for the Hall of Fame for people who weren't as big as him. Sunny? Jim Duggan? neutral

How many "One Last Time" title reigns are they gonna give Sting??? Remember when AJ beat him for the belt a couple of years ago? That was supposed to be his "One Last Time".

I think his ego won't let him retire and move on.

As for Savage in the Hall of Fame, I think it'll happen eventually. Slowly, but surely. 1st with the DVD release and with the toy release, Savage is being brought back into the WWE consciousness.

I think he hasn't been inducted because of his long standing feud with Vince. Which, contrary to rumor has nothing to do with him supposedly de-flowering Stephanie McMahon.

This year wouldn't be a good year anyway, because he deserves to be a headliner and he wouldn't be if he was inducted the same year Shawn Michaels was.

Is it just me or has TNA gotten better these past couple of weeks. Tonight's episode had me interested throughout the whole show eek

I don't think they have.

They still start the show with these 20 minute Blab-Fests, while they could be showcasing the X-Division.

They still have these 10 minute backstage brawls that go absolutely nowhere. They have at least 2 of these a show.

They still have angles and storylines that they drop for weeks or even months, and try to pick up right where they left off. Like the Samoa Joe/Pope thing.

They still have Ric Flair bleeding like a stuck pig every week.

They haven't announced what the hell is going on with the TV Title.

They don't really utilize the young talent they have very well.

They brought that Jersey Shore broad out there for no reason.

They build up for the Pay Per View this Sunday has been pretty bad. Even for TNA. They just announced the Main Event and a bunch of other matches for the 1st time 3 days before the event.

I watch TNA lately, and I just think "Man, they can do some really good things if folks there actually knew what the hell they were doing"!

All of that I agree with lol ESPECIALLY the X Division. What the hell happened to them?! That was always a highlight neutral

I'm gonna need Flair to NOT WRESTLE anymore

get rid of the long overdrawn talking at the beginning and definitely the faux backstage footage (why did it look like Mr. Anderson was flirting with Jeff Hardy)

Generation Me needs a new look. They're wearing Matt and Jeff's clothes circa 1999

Enough with Matt Hardy. PERIOD

Still, it's better than what they were doing last year....maybe it was the different arena that made it a bit more interesting lol

There's no competiton. TNA isn't anywhere near a serious competitor to the WWE.

I'm a fan of the independant promotions like Ring of Honor, Pro Wrestling Guerilla, Dragon Gate USA, Evolve, Chikara.

These places are where the action is in the U.S.

Of course, you can't go wrong with Japanese Wrestling and Mexican Lucha Libre.

What I'm saying is, it's a lot like the music business in that the real cutting edge stuff is coming out of the Indies.

Ring of Honor's gonna have 2 Internet Pay Per Views for Wrestlemania weekend in Atlanta for 20 bucks and they're looking like the best deal because those shows are looking like they're gonna be great.

Right THERE^ is the real problem. Deep down, TNA Wrestling is better off without Hulk. But TNA major owner Dixie Carter is NOT bright enough to see that.

I definitely think MMA has affected pro wrestling.

UFC guys are bigger names and bigger draws. Even though they have a PPV every month or 2 like the WWE and TNA, they have a big fight feel to them.

A lot of the guys in UFC have big personalities like Pro Wrestlers. IMO, a guy like Rampage Jackson is the protoypical "Sports Entertainer". It just so happens that he works for Dana White instead of Vince McMahon.

Their fights aren't predetermined like Pro Wrestling is.

A lot of the wrestling fans who left after the Attitude Era and the Monday Night Wars are watching MMA now.

Hell, the biggest star and the biggest draw in MMA is a former WWE Superstar. So, of course MMA has affected the Wrestling Business. But, you can also see the Pro Wrestling influence on MMA.
