Have you ever seen auras?

I been practicing for a while now and have had the great experience in seeing an aura...funny that no picture I have ever seen can explain what it looks like in the real eye.

I was scared at first because it looked like another person..with its figure only as a color coming out of the head slowly ..doing the exact same thing as the person I looked at..(whom was my security guard). His glow starts slowly ..like a white mist around him..then a yellow like color starts to come out of his head. WEIRD ...like a bright neon crayola crayon.

Has anyone else tried?

This is what I use to practice sometimes

How do you practice? My friend doesn't see auras, but he can sense energies and manipulate with them (really cool). He told me I've got similar abilities too, but they're deep inside of me and that I'm really sensitive to ghosts (like the rest of my family).

Yes I can see auras. If you keep practicing it will get easier. Now I can see them with very little effort.

The most memorable one I ever saw was around a very, very old minister at a funeral I was attending. I wasn't even trying, but as I was concentrating on his words, his aura appeared. It was a beautiful golden color and the widest aura I've ever seen.

We have the same color...cool

At different times, two people who don't know each other have told me that mine is purple.

The easiest way is to have someone stand in front of a blank, light or white background and concentrate on the area just above or around their head with your eyes unfocused. The aura will gradually appear first around the head and then the whole body. Some people's auras are very beautiful.

When I met Prince it was too dark to see his aura but I sure felt it. His aura is quite powerful.

Can I do that by myself? You know, for example watching my hands? It would be a little bit difficult to ask someone to participate..you know, people don't like these "paranormal" things, even thought there's nothing paranormal about it at all.

They say ..put your two index fingers together...not touching but just as close as possible...if you look (unfocused) closely you will see the outlines of your aura..the glow at least around your fingers.

If you have a mirror in front of you and a blank wall behind you it's possible.

Lots of times I just observe auras when I'm in a room with other people and they don't even know it. All that's needed is for them to be still long enough.

I can sense my energy field when I do that. My friend told me about this, but he didn't mention aura. Thanks wink

About a month ago I was at a meditation retreat and as we were coming out of a guided meditation I looked at the instructor and his aura was bright aqua...lovely.

It was great. We had a three-day retreat with lectures, music, vegetarian food and lots of meditation of course. It was held at a small interfaith chapel that I visit frequently and we spent one of the days at a beautiful park nearby.

Meditation takes a lot of practice but you will gradually improve if you keep it up.

I see them too. I tend to see them bubble out from the person where they have the most energy present.

Well, I tried that. I put my fingers next to each other, stared at blank wall and didn't mind my fingers at all..I definitely felt something like energyfield between them and I think I saw small "thread" between them. But it was very weak and the colour was dark. Maybe purple, violet or blue, I don't know. When I turned my eyes on it, it was gone neutral

You did indeed see it. You cannot directly look at it because it requires looking 'through' your hands...that's why it is called the 'third eye'. It requires both eyes to look beyond what is seen.

3. Now try seeing if you can detect the way an aura naturally flows and moves as energy. Extend two fingers and slowly, but deliberately move your hands closer together until the tips of those fingers are almost touching each other. You will see the aura energy appear as a thin, hazy line of light connecting your two fingertips together and flowing between them. Try this repeatedly with different fingers and then with all of them at the same time.

hmmm I definitely felt energy field between my hands. But I thought that thin hazy line was just some kind of aliasing, you know what I mean?

lol, you cant...you are actually using your pineal gland

[img:$uid]http://www.crystalinks.com/pinealbrainstem.jpg[/img:$uid]

The pineal gland (also called the pineal body, epiphysis cerebri, epiphysis or the "third eye") is a small endocrine gland in the vertebrate brain. It produces melatonin, a hormone that affects the modulation of wake/sleep patterns and photoperiodic (seasonal) functions.
