It doesn't make me cry, but I do like it.

The German film "Wings of Desire" (of which City of Angels is a remake) is even better, though.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

"Field of Dreams" when he asks his dad to play catch.

"On Any Sunday" when they freeze frame the kids jumping on their bikes at the beginning of the movie.

now that you mention it! I cried buckets over that movie Valentines Day, when Julia Roberts travelled for 36 hours or something just to spend 12 hours with her 5 year old, probably because I was flying away from my 5 year old at the time.

What movies have you watched that have made you cry? You try to fight back the tears but it's no use. No matter how many times you watch them, it's over..instant sob-fest. Here's mine:

'Imitation of Life' - I still can't make it through the end of this film without crying. That end scene with the daughter running behind the horse drawn carriage holding her mother's body and screaming, 'Mama, I'm sorry'....Dude, instant waterworks. I try to make it through that scene everytime I watch this film without crying but it just never happens.

This movie ain't no joke! I haven't watched it in years but if I do I just KNOW what's gonna happen.

same, I had to stop watching it halfway through and watch the rest another day, I was getting SOOOOOO upset! I had to go comfort my crying child who woke up, and I was crying more than my kid, like sobbing in his room, poor boy, had no idea why his mummy was so sad.

E.T. ~ Within the last decade for some reason, altho the last time I watched it, I was fine. When I saw it on the big screen during the 25th anniversary, river of tears flowed uncontrollably.

The Color Purple ~ The reunion of the sisters and when Shug returns to church singing "Maybe God Is Tryin' to Tell You Somethin'" when she hugs her father. cry

Forrest Gump ~ I remember crying in the theater after Jenny died.

The Sixth Sense ~ Not the first time I saw it, it scared me to pieces. These days if I happen to watch it, the scene between the mother and son in the car when he talks about her mother visiting him.

The latest one is Toy Story 3 ~ Near the very end, it was so touching. I had to wipe my eyes quickly when the movie ended, so my niece wouldn't ask what's wrong.

Now, Voyager...

And Mr. Skeffington, esp the part at the end where she looked at a portrait of her younger self. Miss Davis could always bring the water works.

The story of this movie is also heartbreaking(and hopeful at the same time)....
