Recently, I watched a movie called "Jumping the Broom". It was actually a good movie.

Because it was a good movie, I decided to watch the episodes leading up to the movie and enjoyed them as well. I'm even considering buying the whole DVD set of Noah's Arc. So, I'm wondering if there were any other people on here that remember the series and what did you thought about it.

but once you watch the whole thing, you will be very frustrated they didn't keep it going..

My daughter (17) was the one that got me to watch it. She recorded the movie and some of season 2's episodes on our dvr. I suppose that since Noah's marriage, they didn't feel a need to shoot anymore episodes. So, my frustration has already happened.

I do think that if fan insistence could bring The Game back, maybe it would work for Noah's Arc.

I remember this series, also. I was watching it when it was airing on the Logo channel. I always found it funny. The gay black male version on Sex And The City. As a straight man, I caught flack at times for watching it, but shit, good TV's good TV.

I too wish they continued producing the series, though I was a bit underwhelmed by Jumping The Broom. It all felt too rushed, and would've been better suited for a season arc (no pun intended) to lead up to them getting married. But, I know they didn't have that luxury.

IKR....that could be what season 3 would be about. Trey's and Alex's adoption process and Noah's and Wade's engagement. I'm sure those two topic would be more than enough material for a third season.

I'm wishing that someone would try to talk some sense into the show's writer. At least fill in the blank space between season 2 and the wedding.

This is what I saw...Alex's drag performance, Psycho-Guy attempts to ruin Trey and Alex's relationship, Chance's wedding, Ricky's HIV scare, Wade's accident.....

Which season was that?

I recently got into it. I saw some previews a couple of years ago but got turned off by the stereotypical characters. However, recently, since there's not much on TV to watch, I decided to give it a shot. Although I was still disturbed by the extreme stereotypes, I was pleasantly suprised about how well written and acted the series was. I am considering purchasing both seasons on DVD. Hope LOGO will come up with another black series where the characters aren't as campy.

Started watching it some years ago, got my sister hooked and then we got our mom hooked and even my younger brother sits and watches bits and pieces of it with my mom.

I'm absolutely in love with Jensen Atwood {Wade} he's sooo my future husband.

Thanks for getting this thread back on track. I don't want the 2 comments before your's have to do with Noah's Arc. Wade is very sexy.

I became obsessed with finding this show at one point when it was already off the air because they weren't showing it on logo, which I had just gotten. I found it late one night on some asian website and I watched every episode for a whole day. I even got a small virus from that site Norton cleared it up tho. I really want it back on!!

I've been interested in seeing this show for years, but somehow I always get distracted from searching it out.

I did once see part of an episode online. The stream was too choppy to enjoy, though, and while I dug finally seeing depictions of black gay men that weren't utterly dysfunctional, depraved and self-loathing, I have to say Noah's voice was like nails on a chalkboard. He's a darned good-looking bruh, but he sounded like Mickey Mouse.

They're still debating whether there should be a season 3 or not. I think it still has a chance if we did do something about it.

there was a campaign when it ended a couple of yrs ago; it didn't work -- enough; I think that's how we ended up with the wedding movie
