I would have been pretty shocked too. Even though I had to bear a rat in the bedroom for about 6 weeks some time ago. But it never came into the bed, or at least I didn't notice it did.

No way, the ones in the subway are not clean at all. The closest I ever came to touching one, was when my friend found a dead mouse in his attic and made me scoop it up with a paper towel and throw it away because he was too grossed out.

I know its evil, but this was hella funny. I know, it wouldn't be funny if it happened to me... but if someone taped it and put it on youtube... I'd probably laugh at myself.

I had a pet rat when I was 12-13 years old. I bought it to feed my Kingsnake but when the snake did not eat it I ended up keeping her. I used to ride my bike all over town with her sitting on my shoulder, when it got cold she would go down my shirt and poke her head out below my chin. She was quite smart, I would even let her run around outside and she always came back when I called her.
