I've seen rats occasionally on the subway platform, but never inside a subway car.

You know, the rats in NYC often get so big they resemble small cats in a way. I don't ever want to be close to one...but sometimes they like kinda cute.

Saw an article on Yahoo recently about what cities have the most of certain kinds of pests. NYC had rats and bedbugs. I regularly saw rats South of Market in SF when I was walking from the bus or train terminals to my building in the wee hours of the morning. But the would disappear for the day shortly afterwards.

That is so silly to me. It's the internet and we're on a forum. Talking to each other is what we're supposed to do. It's not like quoting somebody leads to you showind up at their front door or something.

Toronto's subway system has rats, but they are NOTHING compared to the rats I've seen in NYC's subways. When we visit, my daughter and I have a game where we bet on not whether we'll see rats while waiting for a train, but on how many we'll see. And they're so big!

Ace might have a better idea of Toronto's downtown rat problem than I do, as he lives and spends more time there. But in Midtown where I am, we get weird crap like urban foxes, gangs of black squirrels and, in the last year or so, massive amounts of ladybugs!?!?
