There is a Prince/Bangles connection albeit a connection that's older than dirt, so maybe he will

I wish I could go. My hubby wants to move to TX and I keep saying if we do it needs to be to the Austin area, but I've never actually been to Austin so I'd love to check it out. I also have an old friend that moved to that area and I could see her.

But, no, I'm not going.

I've never been to Austin either, but some friends of mine have moved there and they love it. I hear nothing but good things about that city! I'm excited to visit!

I was in Austin a long time ago (we're talkin', like, '89, here). I have friends who go to SXSW and I hear it's quite the party.

As for the Bangles, Susanna Hoffs is 50! How the hell does that tiny, little [Snip - luv4u] do it?:

I was just pointing out that she's Jewish. I was raised in the religion and I'd never heard of this word being considered offensive (it was even used in a famous SNL commercial parody).

But, whatevs.

good advice, Xx. i've had all of my shots. currently, i'm vaccinated against the mongoberry flu, the jojokeeky fever, doremerry fever, and willsdort disease. i feel a lot better now, knowing i am taking such good care of my health.

Webster's has "sometimes offensive" as a note accompanying the definition.. I guess it depends on context/who's saying it..

-- could have sworn I heard somebody use it on "The Nanny" recently (Nick @ Nite/TVLand repeats..)
