I'm not sure why purple's getting so much grief over this shit from a few folks in here, like 90% of this board hasn't sought advice from the org on some shit that, while important to them, may have been relatively simple or meaningless to everyone else. Can you look at FaceBook pages if you don't have FaceBook page? If not, reason number 153 to never have a FaceBook page.

I think you can see just a basic front page, but not all the content. Even that depends on their privacy settings though.

Well, if this thread was about "should I go see him/get back together", there would be nothing wrong...but asking us if she should go and see his profile? That takes only about 10 seconds. I've got only 2 weeks to prepare for the state exam so I'm a little bit stressed and my mood tends to be shitty, that's why I thought that asking us about checking one facebook profile is a little bit useless.

Seems like you should probably be studying instead of spending time on the Org then.

Music is like wallpaper for me - it's always just there, hanging around. If I choose to put my focus on it, to bring it forward, I can. But I can just as easily keep it in the background. It's soothing for me. When I'm in complete silence I can often here the tinnitus in my ear ringing, and that's really annoying.

- but I'm glad to be rid of him - he drained me emotionally, financially... so I'll take the $$ loss

well, mostly rid of him.. haven't seen him since 2006, but, he'll write me on FB [he's not a FB friend] if something tragic happens, like a mutual friend of ours died a couple of yrs ago, and he wrote to see how I was doing when Michael Jackson died

$20 and a book? girl, cut your losses and enjoy life w/o him & his drama...

yeah its really not about the book and 20 bux it was to see if his lazy ass got his life 2gether. all i do is sit in front the computer all day since been laid off so i'm the lazy ass but still i'm not addicted to weed and cigs and playing xbox all day

Well I'll vouch for you in this thread. I think some of the response was uncalled for. But in the obscene thread, you asked people's opinion of you and when you do that, you have to be ready to face the fact that not everyone will have a favorable one. I don't know what other threads you may be referring to aside from these two.

And yeah, I imagine everyone remember's their first. And you aren't nearly the first to pose a question regarding contacting an ex.

I have to say that if you are going to post on here and want attention or advice - you take the bad with the good.

Some other chat rooms (not this Org) are downright bitchy and scathing - on here it is more of a gentle sarcasm which even I can take and I am sensitive most of the time.

ok enough with deleting the facebook. i got to alot of conventions and facebook is how i keep in touch with all my friends i made including all my local friends. we don't do phone calls. texting maybe at one of the weekend conventions like where u at? in my room..yada yada. someone wants to contact me they post to my wall.
