I agree. I think they are probably going to do 2 or 3 episodes to get us completely caught up and will continue to catch us up throughout the season (like Desperate Housewives did when the show jumped 5 years ahead).

Melanie, Melanie, Med School yadda yadda. Dis bitch is soooo self-sabotaging. She just can't allow herself to be happy and for the whole run of the show this character is always in some drama. I was hoping that her character would have showed some growth but oh noooo, same ole worry wart/insecure mommy's girl/Janay had my man's baby be4 me ish.

And WTF happened to the girl that played Jason and Kelly's daughter? Why didn't they bring her back instead of this midget they got now? The current girl is blacker than Jason. With him being all lightskinned and bustin' up in a white woman they should have cast the daughter appropriately - a mariah carey looking girl. I'm having a Cosby kid flashback!

Also, why the hell this dude from 106 and park keep getting all these acting gigs? I'm ret for him to retire!

So much for Sheree Whitfield's on screen acting debut. I blinked and almost missed it.

She was going on about how funny it was and blah blah blah...And I had to let her know how BORING and DULL I think it is. What is that show about anyway? I really don't think it's super popular..well, among black people at least. Who, watching that show, can relate to the characters? I miss sitcoms like Martin and Living Single. Shows that had an all black cast, and you could relate to the characters. I think the show is lacking (to me) is that although the characters are celebrities, they aren't portrayed at a "down to earth" angle, you know? I would watch the show if it was more like they were celebrities outside the house, but when they got home, they were like Martin and Gina or something.

Last night was a tad better than the premier ep. The actor that plays Jason is the best thing going on this show right now. He retains much of his annoying traits while showing some emotional evolution. It's good to see him feeling vulnerable now that he's been cut from the Sabers and how realistic given that he's an "older" player.

The writers must have been drunk because tonight's episode was totally

blah. They made Malik out to be this crazed drunk. They totally left Jason

and Kelly out of tonight's episode and what the fuck was up with this Melanie

and some video dancer with a big booty competing for the attention of young

girls. Why was the focus of this episode about that. The first two episodes were

good but they were way off tonight.

Idk..that was a mess with the video ho and Melanie. I'm going to need for the writers to give the Melanie character some damn backbone. Her character premiered as a med student and ol' girl's character was only known for being a video girl and jump-off to the Sabers. And dummy marries her fully aware that his Jason, D, and Malik had all been in her. And tell me how does her and Melanie's story compare and why would everyone end up siding with Superhead Jr? That's some bs. I may not care for Melanie, but she did come to the table with ambition and goals outside of D's celebrity. Without D, she was going to be quite alright. What idiot determined that it was ok for her relationship to be compared to the other's. Come to think of it, T.I. character in ATL didn't want her nasty ass either. Talk about being typed cast. At least play a role where you can be something besides a hoe. Damn!!!

Okay, back to The Game.

And why wasn't it written that, at least, Tasha's ass would come to dummy #1 (Melanie's) defense? I know that Melanie has some issues, but isn't Tasha suppose to be Melanie's friend?
