Would you pay money to play Slamball? I've recently been thinking (haven't done any kind of research or cost analysis) that opening up a Slamball court might be a lot of fun and make me a lot of money at the same time.
Slamball is basically the greatest sport in the world. It is basketball with trampolines that extend play up to 17 feet from the ground. The game is 4 on 4 and there is hockey style contact allowed and there is almost non-stop action. It is insane and almost impossible to describe. It is televised on TNN. Click here for more info: http://slamball.warnerbros.com/ My question is would you be willing to pay what I can only imagine would be a good chunk of money (insurance costs would be very high) to play slam ball? So say at the Celebration in 2004 (as this would be the time when most of you would be in Minnesota) would you be willing to pay $30 or whatever to play Slamball? I've talked to people and we seem to agree that we would pay any amount of money for the chance to play this kick-ass sport. This is the main reason that I would even consider opening up a center is so I could play. Another question I have is if there are slamball courts open to the general public anywhere in the world? . I believe there's only one court, where they played
all their games...something about it being too expensive to convert, or build multi-courts... I personally wouldn't play, but the young crowd would love it... Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |
