The layout of this kitchen is much better. Even though the other had more cabinets, it was all in a straight line. I like this layout for working in it and being able to interact with folk in the dining room.

I also can't seem to get the actual color (true to real life). It's close, but IMO the space looks/feels different in person than in that pic.

when u sent me the pix in November, I thought it was bigger (the kitchen) - but it's still a nice size

I definitely see what you're saying about the kitchen being a better workspace, and that counts for a lot if you actually cook in it.

The kitchen looks great - I'm not hatin'. And strangely, I think we've actually had this conversation at some point in the past. I don't own anything orange. Literally, nothing. No clothing, no furniture, no paintings... nothing.

At fist I was gonna put the long table I ended up painting white (under the dining room mirror) there, but all I could picture was a lot of broken vases and bloody paws.

Oh shit. That is a mirror. I thought that was the pass through at first. So then you took that picture looking out of the kitchen across the "bar", right? ...never mind. The top of the cake plate cover straightened me out. OK, the layout makes much more sense now. I was a bit confused before.

No. But I thought it was odd that you had the same hanging lamp in the dining room and the kitchen.

If I had really been paying attention I would have noticed the reflection of the lamp on the long white table, though.
