So, I haven't been to Miami before and plenty of my friends and family haven't either. We want to know what is there to do in June. What places we just got to check out? We prolly are going to South Beach. I want to check out Sobe club. What else can we not pass up on this trip?

You are going to roast when it's not raining, the best time to go to Miami is now...the weather is perfect.

Anyhoo, SOBE has been overrun by the young crowd so if that's your thing you can start on Lincoln Road Mall in the early evening and then check out the night life on Ocean Drive. If you get tired of walking, there's bikes for rent and a free trolley. The beach is right there too. FYI, South Pointe park is clothing optional.

I don't go anywhere near SOBE if I can help it. SCNDLS can probably tell you which clubs are good.

Another nice water spot is the Venetian Pool about 20mins to the south. Check to see if it's still open.

Personally, I like Bayside Marketplace, great shopping, restaurants, live music on the weekends and a spectacular view of the bay. A party boat tour of the bayside mansions along the bay is fun too.

Cocowalk in Coconut Grove is another promenade style area that's nice in the early evening but don't hang around there too late at night.

In Hollywood, just north of Miami is the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino where you can see some of Prince's outfits from the Purple Rain era.

There's all types of Caribbean food...Bahamian conch fritters and conch salad, Jamaican curry goat, Cuban arroz con pollo with plantains, etc, etc...

I want a nice place that plays hip hop - our crowd is a bunch of cousins/friends that are mostly in their 30s. I dance a lot so I want to sweat on the dance floor LOL! I might have to check out those places. We are going at the end of June for like 3 whole days. We will be like 8+ girls and coming from different parts of the United States. Do you know where's the best hotels are?

Well June is the off season so hotels should be reasonable. What is your price range?

As far as hip hop clubs, I'll have to ask my son and get back to ya because I wouldn't go near one.

You know how it is when your song plays and like 20 people says at the same time "Ohh that's my jam"! LOL!

What is the best airline to get there? And hotel? As for a price range - we don't want the most expensive place but being that we are a few girls, the cost will be splitted so it really don't matter LOL!

My son tells me that the best clubs depend on which night you wanna hang out....

Panagea at the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood and Mansion in SOBE are the best Thursday nite clubs.

Friday and Saturday are the best nights at Opium, (Hard Rock) and Dream, (SOBE).

Club Live on Sunday, (SOBE).

He swears by the Hotel Gansevoort as the absolute best place to stay for the young crowd and according to him the prices are not too outrageous.

As far as airlines the best thing to do is to check all of them and look for package deals too. If I recall, Delta has the most flights into Miami.
