Per Johnart's request, Andy photowhores his apartment.

OK, it was hard as hell taking pictures with this damn built in webcam in the laptop. Turning the damn thing backwards and trying to see the image and push the button. It took a while but I did it.

I'll show the den in this first post and then I'll show the kitchen and bedroom in other posts....

You have great taste! I really like your apartment.

You need to invest in a camera, though. biggrin Or at least a cell phone that can take pics.

Thanks all of y'all. The whole place is a mixture of some of both mine and my mother's stuff. The two of us had similar tastes. She was my best friend and we loved to go shopping together looking for interesting things. She bought the San Francisco house cookie jar on the kitchen table and the San Francisco pictures above it when her job sent her on a business trip to San Francisco back in 1981. It was the furthest she had ever been from Mississippi and she absolutely loved it.

Some of the items such as the two oriental ladies upstairs in the bedroom, I had bought for her on various birthdays, Mother's Days, and Christmases. I never knew I would be getting them back one day. I never have been one to put family pictures all over the walls because it always looked so old fashioned to me so I just put one picture of her above the kitchen sink which is appropriate because she loved to eat...as we all do. With such an even mixture of her stuff and my stuff throughout the entire place, her presence is all over the place.

Please regale me/us with one of your stories. cloud9

That's me standing up on the left. With all this cold weather lately, I've lost all of my tan. lol

Honey, for me to be that young in a picture, I would probably be wearing bellbottoms. lol Those are three of my four nephews. That picture was taken in probably 1999 or 2000 around Easter time. Both my sisters were married to black men and one of them still is. They each have two sons.

My mother loved the hell out of her grandchildren. The funny thing is how she didn't take no shit off my bad ass when I was growing up and used to not understand why my grandmother (her mother) would let me run all over her and still continue to spoil my ass. But when she became a grandmother herself, she did the same exact same thing with her grandchildren. lol
