OLD SCHOOL I was just watching a MTV special featuring Run DMC, they were talking about how the release of their Raising Hell album "1986" made such an influence in rap music, it also made me realize how good rap was back then. You had DMC, TOO SHORT, RODNEY O AND JOE COOLEY, just to name a few. I still listen to some rap but it can never be compared to old school rap, does anyone here agree with me? | |

Yes I agree and no I do not agree...yes we had those you said above, but we can not forget rappers such as 2Pac, Dr. Dre, and Beastie Boys...just to name some off of the top of my head who have made big influences on Rap also. Whatever you know MC Hammer was and still is your favorite...as well as vanilla ice and milli vanilli I liked MC Hammer back in the day and there are still a few songs of his i still like. Ice Ice Baby was cool, but milli vanilli made me sick. I didn't like any of their songs
